XIII is now available again on GOG.COM!

The President of the United States of America has been assassinated and you're the world's prime suspect. The FBI, the CIA, and a gang of murderous killers are trying to hunt you down. Stricken with amnesia you remember nothing, not even who you are. You're on your own and there is no one you can trust. All you have is a safe deposit key, a mysterious tattoo, and a gun. Clear your name, solve the mystery, and catch the true assassin before he strikes again.

GameRager: True.

At least in most cases they were extras and not games(if that's any comfort for some).
Actually, they tried to remove the game from the libraries of users who bought it at least once.

The game is called Softporn Adventure and it was included in the Leisure Suit Larry bundle.

But then there was a resonance on the forum and the game was returned to users who bought that bundle.

That was a technical problem - nothing more. For some users (myself included) the game has never been removed from the library.

Yeah, "technical problem". That's why it was returned to the orders section as a separate "purchase" entry. And removed from the Leisure Suit Larry bundle.

Too many technical problems lately.

At least it was only a single instance(were there more?), and if anything it was likely due to gog's seeming loathing of games that focus on lewd things(even the VNs here I think are censored).

Just take a look here and you will see that they did not remove the game for everybody (like I said - myself included). Do you really think GOG would remove the game for some but not for all?

To be honest, I'm not sure of anything related to GOG for several years.

Too many questions, too few answers. :D
I had no idea this disappeared from GOG. Good to have it back then.
The realist in me KNOWS that this is to head off some of the complaints they'll get when the remake inevitably takes the Epic deal.

@GOG Is there an easy way to get in touch with you guys? I'm the author of the Unofficial XIII Patch 1.4.2 and I'd be happy to collaborate and assist on implementing various enhancements to the GOG version like widescreen support and re-enabling online multiplayer in particular. It would do the game good and provide better replayability. The patch provides an overall fresh user experience yet lacks a stable player base as this is commonly how it ends up with "non-official resources from foreign places" which could be easily solved by moving it to a more prominent place.

Besides, the XIII map editor should be fixed as it's broken in the GOG version as of now.

You should talk with the GOG support team about this.

This email might help: inquiries@gog.com

Or filing a support ticket via the above menu bar.

Good luck at any rate and thanks for the offer. :)

Might try this, although I hesitate because of bad experiences with those "support" channels hence I'm hoping to get into a more straightforward way to talk. Thanks anyway!
