Wait, does this mean that if you ban someone they can no longer contact other users via chat? Asking, because in the PM system, they still could.

He contacted me again a few minutes ago, so the ban definitely doesn't affect chat capabilities.

Apparently nth has changed on this front. Shame, SStefania: post got my hope high that scrapping the PM system and putting this chat one in its place came with at least one positive aspect the PM system lacked.

But.. why is that good? Now you can't see if you're trading with a -50rep just-joined scammer.
Also, you won't be able to safely say "you go first due to rep" anymore.
