Xeshra: I only got "Idea in Friction" from Kagura Games, not even sure how i got it, i guess i had some coins left at some point and found the art interesting. However... the technical aspect was so terrible, bad picture quality on a 1080P screen (totally washed out), no gamepad support, not even a mouse is supported. It is just rubbish so i had to remove this game from my collection. In theory this game should be one of the "better" games but yeah... i was not able to enjoy it. I guess most games they offer are about this level or even less... not really a quality game, sadly.
However... there are always exceptions: I heard "Pray Game" and "Demons Roots" could be something suitable and probably the best games they got to offer. Unfortunately as well not free... especially Pray Game is 20 hard Swiss coins for me, so i do expect a enjoyable experience.
Perhaps i will get those games, but thats it for me when it comes to Kagura Games. You never know what time it may even become wiped from the store and those 2 games could become a loss.
In general i do not want GOG to ban them, it makes me sad... despite the in overall questionable quality. Instead GOG should become
very picky and only allow the best games to be released here. I dunno why GOG was not doing any curation here... so instead of banning simply make curation.
Perhaps GOG simply lacks the manpower to make it happen and at the same time they are struggling with crying people, law enforcement and criminalization from payment providers, so they kinda feel like "pulling the plug". It does not seem to be worth it to them anymore, taking all the factors into account.
Regarding the topic, Tokyo Clanpool is a fine game in its category such as Moero Chronicle and Mary Skelter 1+2, so there is no need going to become cranky about and making "hidden censorship". If the publisher is finally able to make the uncensor patch happen at some point i may get me this game but not any sooner, excuse me.
heavy handed at some point, which resulted in a lot of good games getting rejected for no good reason. That was really frustrating. I can see not wanting to promote games below a certain level of quality or broad appeal, but if a game isn't just obvious garbage, I don't think anyone benefits from just not allowing it to be sold at all. Especially since in a lot of cases, a GOG release is the only way something's going to get a DRM-free release of any sort.
Anyway, yeah - veering off-topic. I'm in the same boat where, if the publisher uncensors the game, I'll probably pick it up, but I'm not buying it unless that happens.
