The Hero meets an explorer that is searching for the mythical kingdom of Atlantis, and together they set out on a journey across the western Mediterranean. Loger13: Hello, ThomNG!
I try to ask these questions in every THQNordic release topic, but you run away immediately after the first post and I'm late. I hope this time I managed.
First, thanks for the release!
And secondly, a little offtopic:
1. Are there at least approximate dates when we will see the Kingdoms of Amalur here? I want to that day I have already prepared to throw money at the monitor (I mean to GOG/THQ Nordic :) ).
2. Any timeframe for Second Sight (It need to be back here!).
3. Is there any chance to see Wreckfest and/or Monster Jam Steel Titans here? GOG suffers from the catastrophic lack of racing games.
4. Is there a chance to see Alone in the Dark (2008) here? I want complete series.
5. I understand that this is unlikely, but I still ask: is there at least some chance to see the games from Microsoft here? For example such as Sunset Overdrive and ReCore.

Please share any information that you have and that you can (allowed) tell us.

Thanks again!

P.S.
Nice l̶i̶g̶h̶t̶s̶a̶b̶e̶r̶ magicsword in the trailer!

Ashleee: Thanks for your questions.

I really wish I can give a clear answer but we're not allowed to comment anything about our future releases :(
Good to know, that at least one of the titles is a future release.:)

Anothername: Does nobody who read this plays the add-on? oO

Oddeus: I´m still playing Ragnarök. It will take a while until I reach Atlantis, but I will report as soon as I find two-handed swords.
Cool, thanks :)

If they introduced them I guess you would have already found one though. I think that a new weapon type will retroactively be added to all previous stages of the game as well.

If they were trying to be accurate to the period/areas then if some sort of weapon wasn't in that period/area then they might not put it in said areas.

MarkoH01: And in case you play in German you might want to take a look at this as well (at least for now until they fixed it).
Thanks for the hint! But with all the new problems I'll keep playing my old version or even go back to my retail version and try to find a no-CD patch for it.

I have just finished Ragnarök and at the moment I am playing Atlantis. Except for the bug I posted a workaround here I did not have problems worth mentioning with the DX9 version at least. The comfort functions however (especially the relict stash and the color coding) make this far more enjoyable than recent versions.

Hm, the weapons from Ragnarök are distributed to all vendors through the game. But I see no new weapons from Atlantis. Now that I think of it, two-handed swords would need new animations for every move, so it´s unlikely that they introduced them. Still, if I see something new, I will report.

Btw, the Anniversary Edition is worth a new playthrough. There is a lot of new stuff to find, like new hero monsters, secrets, cosmetic improvements and so on. I´m consistently surprised by the things I discover in the old regions.

Since that possibly influences a characters build (adding points in dual wield or not) it probably would; but maybe rather Greataxes and 2h-Maces in the Greek areas. IDK; not really wanna talk about viability of a 2h Sword there. I merely asked because its my favorite combat style in fantasy/medieval themed games.

Yes, that why I mentioned it. It would be a new addition in fighting style; animation and probably new skills to go along with the dual wield skills.

From the bit I played its nicer than the other arpgs. But the combat styles never keep me in the game for long.
