Matruchus: Its still 4.49€ for me. I guess the german price is 4.99€. You know regional pricing.
avatar
Dogepower: I am from Germany and I still got it for 4.49€ like maximum an hour after the release, but later I saw that the price was readjusted to 4.99€. Maybe it was a bug for me, but I am not mad about it. :P

I really hope that THQ Nordic will keep this game updated on gog and not like the tragedy called "Darksiders Deathinitve Edition".
Did you get store credit, when you bought it for 4.49 €?
When I bought it for 4.99 €, I got a store credit of 0.50 €.
And I also used 0.70 € SC from my last buy at GoG. :-)
Great !!
Finally I'll be able to play it for the first time !
And that's a great launch discount, thanks for this and the work behind this release :D

Nope 4.49€ is I guess the US price as usual. They don't have a region for us yet so we are in the US region or world region as gog is calling it.
avatar
final_option: That button's been in the game since 2006?2007. You can unlock some fun item sets with it. Just google the codes :)
Ok, thanks. I never played this game before so I was wondering what this is all about :)

I googled for the codes and found some forums, where they say that the items you`ll get from this codes are rather crappy. They are also unsellable.

Nah, I didn't get any store credit, so that kinda balances it out. I had 0.10€ store credit left from buying Oniken, so I paid 4.39€ all in all. GoG is awesome for having the fair price policy and store credit. The most customer-friendly online gaming store on the net.
So, it's good, eh? I've not heard of it other than in passing mention around the forums. I wasn't gaming back when it came out and don't follow much in the gaming world. Looks good! WLed.

It's one of the legends, and predecessor to Grim Dawn (by the same team I think, although under different company). Practically the same gameplay, in different setting.

Well, I didn't say that they were good ;) Just interesting and in case of the ninja suit cool looking.

Smannesman: Sooo I guess it won't be coming to GOG Connect?
Also shouldn't your name now be ThomTHQN or ThomTN?
avatar
ThomNG: Nothing planned on GOG Connect as for now but we may look into that in future (for whatever games, not respectively on Titan Quest) - and yeah, but I guess I will stick at something unique like the account name ;)
Hi Skysect here from Heonhide Inc. I want to speak about something for GOG release . Because I made a hash comparison at the moment :

Titan Quest - Anniversary Edition\Audio\Playersounds.arc doesn't exist on GOG version . I don't know what is about it .

Database\database.arz
Resources\Fonts.arc

are have different hashes but I am not sure what is changed .

Settings\credits.txt in GOG version seems outdated :)

Videos\TQLegal.bik have different checksum . Opened it with video player and files are compeletely different .

ArchiveTool.exe
ArtManager.exe
BitmapCreator.exe
Direct3D.dll
Editor.exe
Engine.dll
Game.dll
MapCompiler.exe
MemoryMgr.dll
ModelCompiler.exe
NatLib.dll
PSEditor.exe
QuestEditor.exe
RGAPI.dll
ShaderCompiler.exe
SourceControl.dll
SourceServer.exe
TQ.exe
Viewer.exe
Widget.dll

Those files have different checksums too but I am sure it's about Steam DRM or another thing .

Except those files it's perfect release nearly everything same with Steam release . If you shed light about those files I would be very happy . :) Because only THQ Nordic knows what's happened to those files in new version of the game .

UPDATE 1 : Also those threads ; clearly show there is some differences and that makes problems :S Probably GOG build is already outdated .

https://www.gog.com/forum/titan_quest_anniversary_edition/intro_movies_dont_play/page1

https://www.gog.com/forum/titan_quest_anniversary_edition/cant_join_friend_internet_game

https://www.gog.com/forum/titan_quest_anniversary_edition/does_it_support_crossplay_with_steam

UPDATE 2 : With Galaxy update (GOG-3) all files are same now except those :

Direct3D.dll ERROR: Checksum did not match.
Engine.dll ERROR: Checksum did not match.
Game.dll ERROR: Checksum did not match.
MemoryMgr.dll ERROR: Checksum did not match.
RGAPI.dll ERROR: Checksum did not match.
TQ.exe ERROR: Checksum did not match.
Widget.dll ERROR: Checksum did not match.

It's probably about Steam DRM or another thing ? I am not sure .

UPDATE 3 : Intro movies fixed too .

UPDATE 4 : Loot is seems broken on both Steam and GOG versions . I don't know if it's working as intended but without press ALT button , you can't see nearly all of loot . I am using (GOG-4)

Maxvorstadt: Really? Didn`t see that. They must have changed it real fast.
Well i bought it pretty soon after release - i don't know when they changed it but it was 78% off at release.

So it's flat priced for you then?

Do you still know what the full price was when you bought TQ? At the moment it`s 19.99 € here.

Yes. I saw that you mentioned that you're in the World region (or whatever the name is), that would explain it.

It was 19.99 too. At least according to my order.

Is that a comparison between GOG and Steam version?

Well, then it`s not a matter of regional pricing. Seems like they made a fault when they calculated the discounted price.
Maybe they gave a too high account and got whistled back by THQ then.
