How is this a release if " Offline installers will be added soon." ?

Offline Installer will be added soon.

I sympathize with the developer who may have lost a considerable number of sales because of this. I won't wait for the offline installers to become available, whenever that may be, nor will I purchase it here at any point in the future.

Yeah no. Just no.

By GOG's own promise in writing, a game can not release here without 'backup installers' i. e. the actual game.
Is this some kind of joke?
It's not the first game where it happened.

Their QA is currently quite slow.

Then again, 4 versions of the game were uploaded since yesterday :D
We only need installers for the 4th version.

... Seriously?
How soon is "soon", GOG? As soon™ as the DreadXP games will get here?
Was about to buy this here. After breaking from this store for 6 months, thought I'd give it another shot today, and got greeted by this.

Itch has the most recent DRM-free installers.

This is bad luck really.

The game apparently still had some problems before the release (4 uploads in two days), QA didn't greenlight it. As a consequence no offline installer was released. That's also why the gift codes for backers didn't work earlier. The dev got the greenlight really in the last moment (he sad from 17:00 CET codes would work).

Today GOG employees have a day off (some polish law because saturday is a holiday), so they do tomorrow and on Sunday. It'S a long weekend for the guys.

Yesterday a bunch of games got updated with offline installers (get the work done before weekend, I guess), Arthur Flabbington just wasn't among them, it was greenlit too late.

So my best guess is that on Monday they will continue to test offline installers, so they can be released.

I downloaded the game through galaxy for the time being and am enjoying every moment :)
I love the cynic humor and in this game, at least insects do get hurt.

Well, guess that's me left to rot though official routes; seeing as Galaxy you know, still doesn't exist for my system of choice.
And no, I'm not about to spin up an internet enabled virtual machine just to deal with a petty issue like this.

Well done to this mockery of a release, and finally tipping the hand loud enough so we can realize where the priorities have gone.

Things like this are exactly why I've bought Noita & Dwarf Fortress via Itch.

GOG.com: Check it out!
I just did, simply by going to the GuGames page on itch. Gonna test out the demo in a bit to see how it plays :)
(I also tossed a bit of dough the dev's way for some of their other games)

Oh wait, you meant check it out on GOG? Ooops.....my bad

Looks like a fun game but GOG not offering an offline installer is going to hurt sales.
