Launch-period-only content is a scummy practice, even if its only the soundtrack. Exploiting FOMO is a nasty thing to do for digital goods which don't need to be manufactured and stocked.

Most Falcom games have all the music as ogg vorbis files in the game folder. I'm not sure why you'd need a seperate soundtrack.

Good tip! Still, this practice is bad no matter how easy it is to work around, but I guess NISA is to blame rather than Falcom.

SargonAelther: A collection of extras, depending on the edition.
I just got the base game (Reverie) and the "soundtrack sampler" and "mini art book" are still there for me. Guess they want to show just how much they appreciate you getting the super over priced edition :/. Thanks for the warning.

Even better, it is usually opus format these days, although I didn't check this one (although the vorbis are high enough quality that it mostly just means a bit smaller files). The soundtrack is nice though being in flac and also having metadata, which the files included with the game don't (although the metadata doesn't include the specific composer for some reason which Falcom's YouTube channel does mention). They might add a fade out in some cases too, some of the game music files end a bit awkwardly to be more loopable. But yeah, it is great that they are so easily available in the game files.

Yeah I know some people who still have their extras and some who lost them, like me. I do not see any pattern here. I got the ultimate and lost it. Someone got the deluxe and kept it. Someone else also got the deluxe, but lost it...

Maybe they messed something up and removed it for those who bought it "too early"? I bought the Ultimate on July 8th.
Version 1.0.8 was released to Galaxy earlier today yet the offline installer is still 1.0.4. (Two versions behind)

I'm not even surprised anymore.

Whats the issue? Why is the installer not updated?

There is even some glitches on the old version i noticed... a no go.

The price... okay... it is not a "bargain"; although compared to the other NIS games rather fair. Sure, there are cheaper games out there with comparable content and playtime, yet the price is still in the green zone.

Surely, "Zwei the Ilvard insurrection" which is pretty much able to be compared, is half the price and about same content. But if you already got it... the more affordable options already will become lesser.

The "launch-week exclusive" based on "fear of missing out" is not a kind thing, however... what to expect from a publisher somewhat enjoying to stay on the "evil side".

We NEED to talk about the brightness issue.
So, as always, great work done here NISA. While not the passion project like Marvelous, you guys do the job, as with your own titles.
However, this game is far too bright.
As many of you know, Nayuta no Kiseki was made for PSP back in the early 2010s. The game needed to be bright to bring out the colors of the screens of that machine. However, on our PCs, the brightness is too too much and is washing a lot of colors out.

This either needs to be changed, or there needs to be an option to help the lack of gamma or brightness. It seriously bugs me, because this is such a colorful game.

The overly bright colors are definitely a issue, it is a heritage from the "PSP-version".

Alright, GOG, what gives? Just bought the game but I dont see it on Galaxy. Even if I go to Galaxy > Store > Game > Library, I can open the game page but no options to install.

If you bought it with Galaxy running, you may need to restart Galaxy. Galaxy does not seem to update its information in real time.

Done that but no dice.

Edit: Welp, seems I just had to wait for 8 hours to appear

The installer is still dated. Not sure this is a "usual case" but surely currently i am not happy on how GoG is performing. I still do not get it why we need so many updates in such a short period, it feels like they make no internal game tests at all...

Another thing i noticed is that the updated installers are not tagged anymore, but this is a old issue and they never got it to work properly.

Hmm, I got it on the 7th (although depending on when and where you are that could be about the same as your 8th or even a bit later). Strange :(. Have you used that account reset URL thingy since then? I wonder if that might relink to the wrong version. Seems unlikely but only thing I can think of. Strange that it happens and stranger that they can't just fix it :(.

Chacranajxy: What was the Trails into Reverie week 1 DLC again? I think I'm missing it too.

SargonAelther: A collection of extras, depending on the edition. See attachment. I logged a ticket 3 weeks ago. They acknowledged it, but I'm still waiting for a resolution. So I thought I'd warn people to download the soundtrack immediately for this game.
Just received and email form GOG support with a code to redeem with the missing bonus goodies.
Everyone that made a GOG support ticket should take a look at their emails just in case.

Thanks. I've got nothing yet. Hopefully this code restores everything ,because I bought the ultimate edition.

Yes I was in the same situation as you and it restored everything.

Hope you get your code soon, at least we know they are solving the problem, is just a matter of time.
