darktjm: Lovely sentiment. If it doesn't work on my system, it's a 100% waste of my money, no matter what the cost.

eric5h5: You...are aware that GOG has refunds? Specifically for that reason? (Although these days it's not even limited to games not working on your computer: refund for any reason as long as you don't abuse the system.)
You are aware that gog lists system requirements, specifically so that people don't buy games that don't work? My system does not meet the system requirements for any game I own on gog, and I am not entitled to refunds or support.

JohnCorbeau: You could wish for a demo instead, rather than cheap games. Your sentiment is not lovely. And yeah, you got 30 days on GOG, as you've already been told by other members.
I didn't wish for a sale. I simply stated that the game is not on sale, so I have no extra incentive to buy it now, while it's still on sale. See above for my response to your refund option. Also, I don't want refunds. I want working games. Getting a refund does not refund the time and effort I spent on getting the game to work.

edit: Of the over 700 games (way too many) I own on gog, I have only ever asked for a refund once, for a game that didn't work on wine, was in-dev (and within the in-dev refund for any reason window; I don't want to ever take advantage of the new 30-day any reason policy, as I consider it abuse), and also has/had a combat system I abhor but somehow missed on my first read-through of the game description. I have also asked for support exactly once for a Linux game that didn't work, and was offered a refund rather than support (which I refused for the same reason I mentioned above). The game was eventually fixed by players/fans (including myself), rather than the game dev. Also, I have bought quite a few games without discount, so quit being an ass about it.

You know perfectly well that meeting system requirements isn't a 100% iron-clad guarantee that the game will work on your system.
My system does not meet the system requirements for any game I own on gog, and I am not entitled to refunds or support.
I don't think you've actually read GOG's refund policy. You absolutely are entitled to a refund. It's not "abuse"; that's just ridiculous. This sort of thing is exactly one of the reasons they have it. They expect that if people feel comfortable buying games, they'll be likely to buy more of them. Abuse is buying games, claiming they don't work to get a refund, then keeping them.

Sorry, but at this point it's pretty obvious that you're just inventing excuses to not pay anything more than chump change for a game.

You fail at reading comprehension (or maybe you're intentionally misinterpreting what I said; I can't tell the difference). You both fail at basic economics as well. I don't know why I dignified either of you unethical idiots' posts with a response. Lesson learned. I will never respond to either of you again.

Just as well, since you're clearly unwilling to honestly address the issue but prefer to engage in personal attacks instead. "Well...I mean...grr...shut up, you're an idiot!" Wow, yeah, that's a convincing argument. ::eyeroll::
Is the game a challenge?
Watched a few let's play videos from the game . Well, it's not worth for me .

Niggles: Is the game a challenge?
Depends what you call a challenge, but it's xcom like, so it's tactical combat.
You have several difficulty levels, starting from story mode where it's super easy.

When several people misunderstand what you're saying, you should probably ask yourself how come they didn't get it, then read your own post again, and eventually rephrase to make yourself understood. That show of contempt to people seemingly less intelligent than yourself, your insults and ill behavior, your satisfied need to exhibit your gog game library to back your arguments up, those things are not in your favor. How do you want us to listen to you when you throw all that at our faces? Come on...

When one speaks, one should take the context into consideration. You were saying the game is not on sales while this very game just got released! Sure, I take your sentence out of context, I can understand what you say you meant. Not within context though.

I'm not saying you're the idiot. Just... ask someone to read/check your posts before you press the submit button for a time. Could help you mature a bit with humility and respect towards those idiots you insult after just a couple posts.

Have a nice day.

Yeah, sorry. I shouldn't have left it like that. Since both of you think I should use gog's refund policy to test whether or not games work on wine, I have adjusted my description appropriately.

JohnCorbeau:
Yep, You're right, too. I have rephrased my original post to be less subtle. Apparently you missed the context where I specifically mentioned Linux and Wine, even though you replied to that part as well. Go ahead and keep fighting that crusade no matter what I say, though.
