RPGFanboy: The demo had voices in it.
A demo would be nice. That might answer whether or not it works in wine.
I do want to try this game happy it is on GOG but why do you need 32gb of ram for MAC OS meanwhile 4gb min on PC. Seems like whoever tested this just threw random numbers at the MAC system requirements.

JohnCorbeau: Soooo glad it is on GOG! Really did not want to buy this game I highly expected on steam.

And kudos for having it available barely an hour after steam, I was afraid it was gonna take longer since there was no news regarding the release date on GOG!

Hurray! Heroes from my time as a student! So many memories, and newer ones to make!

joppo: Not to nitpick, but there was an announcement it would come to Gog. I knew I had seen it here before.

Check it out by yourself.

Hopefully this game will be good AND its price/sale price and my wallet will reach an agreement. It definitely looks like a game I would enjoy.
Man, I did see the announcement, looked for it before I knew it was there, long ago during development of the game that I was also keeping track of. I also watched all the streams where the game was announced, explained and its mechanics introduced.

However, the post you mention DOES NOT MENTION ANY DATE for GOG. Just says it is coming "soon". As opposed to the post on steam where the date was clearly stated. Made me think the release would come later on GOG, as it is often the case when no dates are provided (on any platform, not just GOG).

Swedrami: Nice nod to the poster artwork of Conan the Barbarian there.
Yup, indeed. The original MP3 series (Naheulbeuk has existed for a long time as an audio series first, and comics and more, concerts...) used the Conan movies' music as background. They had to remove it from the game though, not allowed to use it.

Ancient-Red-Dragon: This game looks interesting. But there are no voices unless you buy the Deluxe Edition? That's what the store page makes it look like. If so, that's very weird IMO. They should give voices to the Standard Edition also.
avatar
Dogmaus: Absolutely. Not that I have an interest for this title, but since when is "voices" a Deluxe extra. We are not talking about an artbook or a soundtrack here. I would not like this to become an accettabile trend. I find it...
Voices for your phone rings and stuff are in the DLC, not the in game voices.

If you don't care about the DLC's, just take the base game and you'll have the full game with voices and all.

darktjm: Looks fantastic. However, it's not on sale, and it's too expensive for me to waste money on if it doesn't work. Is there a Linux version planned? Does this game work flawlessly under wine?
I can't remember them mentioning a linux version was planned. (I would like that too)!
But this game just got released, I certainly hope they get the money they spent back and some more before it goes on sales! If you want nice products, you should know that there is a cost to pay. Can't expect everything cheap.

Zoidberg: "C'est quoi, la ruse?" XP

Geez, blast from the past.

Les voix sont en français au moins? :D
In-game voices can be in French or English.

Yep, that was an error. Turns out you actually need 32TB of RAM. Easy mistake to make, really.

(Seriously, given that and the supposed 3.6GHz i7 requirement, I'd bet money the so-called requirements are just the specs of the Mac the developers were using, not actual requirements.)
Ok then, so they like to confuse people a little between the voice extra and the 32 gb ram thing.
Looks interesting, wishlisted for now.

Lovely sentiment. If it doesn't work on my system, it's a 100% waste of my money, no matter what the cost. I'm willing to absorb that cost if it's low enough, and the game, if it works, would be good enough. This game does not meet that threshold at this time. Why should I support them if they don't support me in return?
Question: What kind of comedy this game has? Is it Dave the Barbarian style or more like Monty Python style or something else?
Tagazok.

You...are aware that GOG has refunds? Specifically for that reason? (Although these days it's not even limited to games not working on your computer: refund for any reason as long as you don't abuse the system.)

Me too. Curious about it. Hope there is much more meat in the game than the humor and cartoony style of graphics .twitch to the rescue,..

You could wish for a demo instead, rather than cheap games. Your sentiment is not lovely. And yeah, you got 30 days on GOG, as you've already been told by other members.
Plus, mine was not a sentiment, just a fact. Can't expect nice games with nothing invested.

I can't find the average length of the game on social media, the game's main site, nor the game card on GOG. Is this a relatively short game, or can it be long to finish it?

I usually just visit www.howlongtobeat.com, but it's not even in their system yet. If anyone knows I would be grateful to know as well!

If my memory serves, they said 15-20 hours during a stream on twitch.
I have not completed it yet, so don't take my words for granted.

Naheulbeuk
did they sneeze when they came up with that?
