Klumpen0815: It works in a clean 32bit WINE 3.20 prefix, you just have to wait for the intro videos to finish, if you want to see them (you won't), drag them to the top left corner of the screen or use a virtual desktop.

WinterSnowfall: Also works on Wine Staging 4.21, 64bit prefix, no tinkering required. Oh, and I am able to skip the videos, btw.
Interesting, I got an error in Wine 5.0 staging.

Isnt there any solution for Intel Indeo videos on Windows 10? I've seen you converted the intro video from Intel Indeo to Cinepak in order to make it work with the DirectDraw8 to Direct3D wrapper.

Good lord, the original game was a completely mess in terms of videos: It has Bink Video, Intel Indeo, Cinepak and Microsoft Video 1 for a dozen of videos xD

A bit weird, I own two CD versions already (English and Polish) yet I still keep playing GOG version :D But after all it's a good way to celebrate this release :D

You mean 5.0 RC... I've blacklisted Wine for a while until the 5.0 release circus ends, but I guess that's not all there is to it :). Forgot to mention I've not exactly installed this on a fresh prefix, but rather on my dedicated prefix for GOG games, which has Indeo codecs along with ffdshow installed (and potentially a couple of other things setup by other game installers I guess).

What error are you getting?

yay..... never even imagined this game would release....

Played the demo released on the pc gamer CD at the time sold as a project in search of money for completion and now it is here looking sleak and silly!

Just played through the demo and really, in certain ways this makes modern developers ashamed right? Ammo factory.. shizzle with metal containers and repair subs

Even the surroundings are so much alive!

Imagine this to be released now.. would only work on 8k systems and with an a.i. that looks like something from the 80's ... outside the automation ofcourse because that would work perfect in the same way as automation in most 4x games works perfect ( "Oh look a new colony world, lets build only factories (( oh look another perfect world... research centers it is ))

anyways, enough of the jab...

nice to see it is here, now only a nice little patch which makes scrolling less obtrusive and we are A oke G o G ;) :)
Does anyone know how to play multiplayer versus real human? I remember when i tried playing this game using Game Ranger a couple of years ago but it didn't work out.

Oh, forgot to answer due to a lot of RL crap.
Actually, I can't remember, but it was a weird one.
Actualy this game was my first, before warcraft and starcraft =)
Played the hell out of it when I was a kid, could hardly make it work even with all the workarounds and everything that people used over the years. Really happy to see it here, was an insta-buy for me <3 Already half-way through BO campaign again. This game does not hold back on kicking your ass.

Also, throw me an add if you ever feel like playing some Multiplayer matches. I'm sure there are other ways to make it work but, so far, it works perfectly with the IPX game mode when using ZeroTier One, which is like Hamachi but a lot more minimalistic, non-invasive, and actually damn functional.
Hi to yall.

There is any easy way to play multiplayer on SB?

Which is the maximum number of players ?

Thank you so much

Hello I don't own the game but according to pcgamingwiki the game only supports LAN multiplayer.

for the number of players according to this video it seems to at least support up to 4 people but probably more?
