Star Wars™: Rogue Squadron 3D, an award-winning arcade take on X-Wing action, is available on Windows - for the first time in digital distribution - on GOG.com!

Star Wars™: Rogue Squadron 3D turned out to be a sleeper hit, an enormous one at that. Originally released for Windows and Nintendo 64, it was lauded as an immense technical achievement in terms of graphics and a smooth, responsive gameplay experience, eventually outselling any industry estimates by manyfold. Rogue Squadron forsook the realistic simulator approach of the X-Wing series, opting instead for an accessible, visceral arcade experience. The game offers plenty of bonus goodies for Star Wars™ fans, including re-enactments of the famous Death Star trench run and Battle of Hoth, as well as plenty of good old-fashioned unlocks, including a pilotable Millenium Falcon, AT-ST, and even a 1969 Buick Electra.

GOG is just killin' it this week.

Excellent release.

Wishlisted.

I wonder if they could get the sequel... doubtful as it was never a PC game, but who knows?
thanks
Sweeeeet!
Just a shame the sequels were Nintendo exclusives!
I think I'm gonna rob my childerns' piggy bank today :-)
I will likely pick this up unless it's a bad port. Pretty sure I can get the N64 cart cheap if it is.
Ah! I love this game! Remember playing the heck out of this on PC way back when!

Graphically it is much-much better, than the N64 version.

Actually you cannot compare them, since this version can be GLIDE accelerated and using NGlide there is no limitation in max. resolution if I am right. So you can play it on 4k monitor resolution or even bigger.

Good to know.
Sweet, I assume this *is* using nGlide. :)
Do you guys think it's worth it if you already own Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike on the Gamecube? Looks to me like this series is highly iterative.
The Falcon is useless in this game, it takes up the whole damn screen and you can't see shit! :P If you want to cheat, use the Naboo Fighter!

Absolutely. This is the only game in the series, that is outside of the Nintendo Consoles.
