amrit9037: I am confused.
One game is strategy and another one is text adventure.
Is this a new game or some lesser known classic?
Space Rangers: Quest is a new game :)

Incognita97: So is this a text adventure without a parser but with a GUI, kind of like 80 Days and Sunless Sea? Set in the Space Rangers universe, am I getting this right?

Hmm, that's very intriguing. I love text adventures/interactive fiction even without graphics. So cool! I'm going to go search for move vids and reviews on this to find out more.
Yes, it has a GUI and if you see a mathematical equation like "12,568,659,597 + 25,586,969,122" then don't worry as the game will write down your answer for you as it comes with a calculator and an area where answers for any mathematical equations are written down for you :)

The game does have other puzzles so there is quite a bit of variety :)

rob.liefeld: OH GOD, PLEASE LET HIS BE GOOD!
Anyone here played this before?
Any comments about it?
I LOVED space rangers 2, the hd update was a letdown however.
How does this hold up compared to those?
Did you like the text adventure portions, though? Because this game is just the text adventure quests.

IAmSinistar: Do they operate the same way here as in the previous game? If so, then I could try that one and see if I like the mechanic.
Yes, they do but now you get some quality of life improvements such as the English translation has proper English (the Space Rangers games are the only games where I actually want some weird form of English, lends to the feeling that you are in the far future :D), there is space for some mathematical equations to be written down and you have an in-game calculator pop up when you are faced with a math problem.

Also, the puzzles in this game are just as mind-bending as they were in the previous Space Rangers games :)
