So it's the text part of Space Rangers?
I had no clue about those games. This one seems right up my alley.

Is Space Rangers: A War Apart similar to this one? Because it is under the "strategy" genre among others, unlike Space Rangers: Quest.

WOW!
Developed by SNK! Super Nintendo Killer!

Will we see other Neo Geo classics from now on!?

(...)
No matter how much I loved Space Rangers series, after the unfun HD version I wont be buying anymore Space Rangers... and damn that I missed buying first 2 games while they were on GOG ...

I have no idea exactly how this one plays but a War Apart is an amazing game, well worth it :)

More engaging than Space Rangers 2 Reboot?
That's all good guys but can you give me more info for the "A War Apart" game? Is it a text adventure with rpg elements like the "Quest" game seems to be? Or it has more strategy elements and if yes, what are those?
Wow!!! Text adventure??? Wasn't it too niche???

So you'll exculde yourself from a whole series just because you don't like an aspect in one of the series...seems a bit narrow minded. I always take each game on it's own.

I've never played the Space rangers series but this look interesting and will do some investigation when I have more time.
I am confused.
One game is strategy and another one is text adventure.
Is this a new game or some lesser known classic?
Any chance we will see Space Rangers 1&2 on GOG again?

Space Rangers: Quest is a new game :)
Curious.

War Apart is more like a hodge-podge of several genres: text adventure quests, land-based real-time strategy, EV Nova-like universe exploration...
Interesting...
