You need to see how this one ends!

SiN Gold, a classic first-person shooter with an original futuristic story of fight against an artificial outburst of criminal tendencies, and one of the best level designs of the 1990s, coming complete with the Wages of Sin expansion, is available for only $9.99 on GOG.com.

SiN Gold is one of the great and memorable first-person shooters of the olden days. Upon release it was highly praised for the great execution of its original and involving storyline and great level design, but sadly, it suffered from long loading times and pesky glitches. The fact that the patch fixing these problems was over 30MB in size in the times of Dial-Up Internet didn't help as well. That is how a game that deserves a prominent place in gaming's all-time hall of fame ended up slightly forgotten and overlooked by many FPS fans. With all the trouble way in the past, it is now time to get acquainted (or reunited) with this fantastic title! You can explore different puzzles and new routes each time you play. You will hack computer terminals, control security cameras, and wreak havoc. You will encounter new dangers and intelligent beings in every mission as you fight your way to the ultimate showdown! And you better believe it, an ultimate showdown it will be. The game comes complete with the Wages of Sin expansion.

Begin your crusade against crime and bring down the sinister syndicate lead by the beautiful but deadly Elexis Sinclaire in SiN Gold, for only $9.99 on GOG.com!

Strife: Beware, I just try to launch the game and his addons but I've only a black screen .
I can hear the sound of menu selection but nothing can be done.
Write to Support when things like this happen, thanks :)

morciu: All I can remember from this game are gunshot wounds, being amazed how gunshot wounds would appear on a body wherever you shot it. Is this the game or is my brain making me say silly stuff again?
Does the screenshot below answer your question? :)

Theta_Sigma: I think that question is officially answered. :P

graspee: In what way is it answered? I actually just looked at the screenshots and one shows an uncensored texture but I'm not seeing the evidence in this thread.... ?
Could you tell me just how it was censored?

LindsayYates: Oh man! Iv'e been wanting this for ages. I didn't think this would come to GOG. I have the boxed retail version but it runs crap on modern systems. Never played the expansion If the Gog version is good I'll buy it.
Our version is GOGified so it runs quite well but if you have something go FUBAR, please write to us :)

Elmofongo: Does this mean we are going to get SiN episodes later with that drop dead gorgeous Elexis Sinclaire :)

But I thought Valve owned it or at the very least uses Source?
Quake II engine, not source :)

Strife: For Sin Episode: Emergence?
Ahh, it looks like I need more coffee as I thought the question was referring to the SiN version we have :)

Sorry! :)

sajin: He is questioning about Episodes.I think Valve offer DRM service through Steam and Source engine, and both of them are not inherent.
See my post above yours, please :)

Drerhu: I think this gonna be one of the my no-sale buys ! Seriously, I love this game..I finished back in time after years of trying and was like...wow.

These days I was playing Wages of Sin (and trying to finish Emergence too) but my god...can´t imagine in a better way to celebrate my birthday (1st february than this!)

Just wondering, I already know the Steam version has some censored (drugs, naked breast, etc.) and changes...shall we expect the same here Judas?

(I hope not...every Wage of Sin player would know what I mean x)
I invite you to look through the screenshots on the game page :) There's one very particular one that should answer your questions :)

PikaCommando: Are the problems with Wages of SiN fixed?
If there were any problems, then we wouldn't release the game :)

(If you do experience any problems with our version of the game, contact us! :) )

PikaCommando: I mean the 2015 intro screen and the problem with the game crashing when Win7 64-bit selects to run the game on default OpenGL. Sorry for doubting you, but I just need to make sure before I buy. The last time I got the game it left me a very very sad panda.
Ahh the infamous intros :)

I do believe that was one of the issues we focused on getting fixed ASAP :)

edit: if something goes BORK! with the game for you, we're here to help and in case nothing works, you have 30 days money back with us :)

tinyE: Oh so you're saying none of your games have ever needed patches or updates? :P
Where do you see me claiming that? :)

We do make patches for our versions of games at times :)

tinyE: I'm just busting your balls a little. :D As soon as I made the joke however I realized there might be a newbie in here who doesn't realize I'm the resident asshole and in turn question the quality of the GOG product of which there is no question to be had. If you would like, I will apologize for the comment.
LOL, no apologies needed, besides, this means I get to get mine back at you ...not today but ONE day :P

*shakes fist*

PikaCommando: Oh yeah, where did you guys get the kickass cover image?
We have our ways :P

animehirmu: Thanks for finally bringing this title to GOG.
I already own a retail version registered on Steam of this that came with SiN Episodes: Emergence.
However, ever since my computer with Windows XP on it died for good, I haven't been able to run the Steam version of this game on an up-to-date Nvidia GPU and drivers on Windows 7. Without trying any fixes, it just gives me an error about Buffer Overrun Detected. Even with the trying all the fixes listed on pcgamingwiki, the game just will not launch.

So, my question goes as follows: is the GOG version of SiN plagued by the same problem ?
I'll certainly buy this game again if this version is rid of this nuisance.
Hi,

We got our version running just fine as far as I can tell and we certainly wouldn't let it go with that Buffer Overrun Detected error like that :)

Also, keep in mind we are ready to help you out as much as possible in the even that you have problems with our version of the game :)

Thespian*: Totally related. ;)

European publishers (but for English ones) are usually more permissive with sexy covers than those on USA. :D

RafaelLopez: But the dude is nowhere to be seen here on GOG, not on the cover, or the background image, or the screenshots.
Rafael, I am sorry, but YOU are the dude...
