Shrine's Legacy is a SNES-era inspired, 16-bit RPG – and it’s now out on GOG with a 20% launch discount until October 21st, 4 PM UTC!

A dark shadow has fallen upon the world of Ardemia. An evil force looms on the horizon and it's up to two young heroes, Rio and Reima, to take up the Sword of the Shrine and save the world from certain doom. Before they can save the world, the duo first needs to restore the Sword by finding its eight elemental gems of magic, along with helping dozens of denizens on the way.

Now on GOG!
Into the forum with it...
Finally! Not here for the high priced AAA, what I want is this! Thanks for bringing it here!

Very much love the look of this! Wishlisted for now!
Looks really cool, might actually give it a chance!

Thanks dev team and GOG!
Thanks to the GOG team for their efforts and to Positive Concept Games / indie.io for releasing the game here. :)

I really like what I see in the trailer (and images) and that is a nice release discount also (and a good base price too). :)

I have to do a bit of research before I buy it now or wishlist it for later instead. =P
.
Looks a bit like Secret of Mana.

Looks nice, though it fails my "is this an RPG" test.
Since both the cover and screenshots feature 2 players prominently, but exactly what kind of co-op it features is never mentioned: co-optimus lists the game as: drop-in/drop-out couch co-op. (No LAN or online.)

In what way does it fail?

Also, curious as to what this test entails.

(Quick mention: I never played Secret of Mana. First heard of it here on the GOG forums)

Cute art. Congrats on the release.
