Rise of Industry is now available DRM-free, out of "Game in Development" period.

There is no force in the universe more interested in pushing the world forward than the industrialist. In Rise of Industry, you become that force. Raising factories, setting up trade routes, researching new technologies or arranging transport for your raw materials is how you will expand your early 20th-century empire in this unpredictable, procedurally-generated world.

trusteft: So, more industry giant or transport tycoon?

DapperPenguins: IG2 was the main inspiration, but we added a lot of our own
IG2 as the main inspiration sounds good. But so far the (in development) reviews are not so good. I'll wait for more reviews of the final release.
Mods are locked behind steam paywall. Seems like the developer comes on my "boycott list".

The game that this item belongs too does not allow downloading of its items...BUMMER!
They managed to get the Linux version here, but somehow not the Mac version?
low rated
people play games on macs lol
Given that many of the games here have Mac versions, and given that Rise of Industry has a Mac version on Steam but inexplicably not here, surely the answer to that comment is painfully obvious. You know, if you can't manage anything other than sub-kindergarten-level babbling, perhaps you could simply refrain from commenting at all.

Echoing this.
