That's right, this love letter to the rad arcade racers of old is finally on GOG.com as the timed-exclusive Solar Challenge Edition, which includes all DLCs, bells, whistles, and colors known to man. Diverse environments, dozens of tracks, plus the option to face your friends in local split-screen multiplayer!
Gameplay Overview Trailer for the sequel, Redout 2.

The publisher, Saber Interactive is a subsidiary of Embracer/THQ Nordic, so there's a slim chance that Redout 2 will eventually get a GoG release sometime further down the line?

From conversations I had with the devs at the time, they really wanted to do a GoG release but were scuppered by the 3rd party Multiplayer tool they used. It didn't support Galaxy.api. While the current version did, the devs didn't have the time to learn the new tool and recode to support it. Which is why we had to wait until they made a single player version for the Switch before we got it.

As long as nothing has changed with the Devs (or pubs over rule them) I think it quite likely we'll see a day one release of Redout 2
