yogsloth: So I bought this and played it for a few hours this weekend.
Nice idea, but it seems my poor brain just isn't cut out for this match-three candy crush stuff. I just don't naturally "see" the combos to make, or even the match-four and five options. My brain just doesn't see it.
Then, and I see some people have noted this, golly gee willakers the opponents sure do seem to get some astonishingly lucky drops. Bing. Bing. Bing. BING. BINGGG. C'mon, really? I must have asked "hey, do I ever get a turn" about 100 times in just a few hours.
Yeah, sadly this was the thing with original and still occurs in that new version. While I'm very persistent (for Puzzle Quest, but not only :)), I would totally understand if someone would consider this part as breaking the fun from this game.
Although I have impression, that sometimes I've managed to "take" part of those lucky combos by making different move than recommended - after a while game is giving a hint, where you can make a move. Sometimes there is literally only one move to do, but some classes have spells that change the color of specific field (which allows you to make connection not possible normally). And as a result - grab a couple of connections, that AI has prepared "for himself".
