ᛞᚨᚱᚹᛟᚾᛞ: So how do you feel about Star Fox Adventures?
The cultural differences alone make this attempt at a gotcha not work, but comparing an otherwise g-rated 3D animated Japanese game that has a side character with sexy aesthetics to a modern western game exclusively focussed on sexuality full of childish scribbles that look straight out of a literal preschooler story book is a pretty dishonest attempt at a comparison.

Why do you sound like you are trying to speak for the entire western game community, or is there a western game community at all?

I bet you didn't even play the game, not a member of the LGBTQ+ community, not Black, Asian or Latino...

You are the very definition of "Judging a book by the cover", my friend.

You really don't see that the cultures of the east and the west on the whole are distinctly different? Or that that there's an obvious, obsessive focus on identity politics in the media zeitgeist across most of the West today that is also predominantly absent in the East?

Also, maybe don't label someone as judging a book by it's cover right after making dismissive assumptions based around their race and sexuality... Makes it sound as if you think anyone who isn't straight or white is part of a hivemind that couldn't possibly find this presentation a bit sus.

Acriz: After two weeks, the Steam release only has 3 reviews and no forum posts. Yet this game gets released here whereas other - more competent and more popular - games got rejected for being too niche. I really want to see the sales figures for this one.

The curation team is a joke.

Yeah, ain't it interesting this game got released here.
Wonder what it could be about....hmm, certainly couldn't be about one of the tags for this game, now could it?
The above aside, I like a good game(key words).....including those with such themes. To me, this just ain't it.

As an LGBT individual, I would like to state that I also dislike this particular game.
I am also verifying that we are indeed not all part of the overreaching hivemind(yet).

I accept criticism.

The point is, that many offensive voices here on GOG attack this game solely because it's an LGBTQ+ game. Some of them have been taken down, as I remember.

Comments like "...homophilic perversion", "...not natural", and "...perverted libido choices..." directly target the LGBTQ+ community. Then it is not ok. Not at all.

I don't mind such**....if said opinions are voiced somewhat civilly(no actual threatening of various groups/etc), that is.
(**they're just words after all, and hold no power over me)

Catventurer: Entirely serious (and probably odd) question - Does this game actually depict eggs with ketchup?
So Omurice does not have to have ketchup at all, its a way of cooking eggs and placing it over a pad of rice. the toppings in the rice and on top of the egg are 100% optional!

Really just rice in an omelette wrapping... hence omurice.

That's good because when I looked up omurice to see if that was actually something, I saw lots and lots of pictures of omelets with ketchup to the extent that you'd think that omurice always has ketchup.

Cookpad offers quite a number of recipes for Omurice without ketchup. ケチャップなし オムライス

Ketchup or no ketchup, this game does sport something that may completely entice you... Momo, the cat! :D Apparently, he's got a backstory, so my guess would be that he does indeed play some role in this interactive storybook. ;)

As someone mentioned above, there is a DRM-free demo available on Itch.io if you wish to test out the game before making a purchase. You don't need an account with them to download it. I contacted the developer to see if he can bring his demo to GOG. When shopping for any game here on GOG, I always appreciate a demo because it allows me to get a feel for the gameplay and to test if my potato system can handle it.

Hope this helps!

You really know how to sell me on games considering that if it was entirely up to me, the game game rating categories would be:
- Cats
- No Cats
- NSFC (Not Safe for Cats)
