Your insults are bad and you should feel bad!

Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator, an outrageous game of verbal jousting, is now available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Words can kill, if you have the skill. This wildly creative and unpredictably hilarious Insult Simulator gives you the power to talk down strangers halfway across the globe, belittle your friends, or knock your smug CPU down a notch. Check your manners at the door and employ your quick wit to assemble pithy retorts from a large pool of seemingly harmless words. Choose from 5 playable characters (plus some secret ones), each with their own voice and personality, and engage in brutal word-fu within different environments and scenarios. Pull off insult-combos, score hurtful critical hits, and take down your potty-mouthed opponents, one carefully worded slur at a time. Don't feel bad for them, it's not your fault their father smells of elderberries!

Unleash the most slanderous verbal attacks upon your opponents and shame them into submission in Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator -- DRM-free on GOG.com.

The game is pretty simple, but fun. It's worth the two dollars it costs.

amund: I'm shocked no one has complained about the regional pricing yet.
I'm even more shocked no one has quoted Monty Python and the Holy Grail yet.
22 minutes in, uninstalled this piece of shit with prejudice.

Got my ass handed to me thanks to the CPU using a "super combo" that didn't make a lick of sense gramatically.

Lern to english, stupid gaem! Those $1.99 could've been more wisely wasted elsewhere... :(

Kunovski: the same as singleplayer - only this way it's not the computer who steals the best puns, it's your (girl/boy)friend sitting next to you :D
avatar
Vythonaut: But... isn't what we already do in real life anyway? Why someone would need a video game for that? Plus, in real life you can punch someone in the face -- how 'bout that, huh? :P
well, then just think of this game as a source of inspiration ;)

Tyrrhia: Looks good. But it seems that it’s mainly aimed at multi‐player audiences. So, how’s the single‐player?
avatar
Kunovski: not bad :) the AI is quite intelligent in tournaments - it chooses the best phrases, it uses certain words several several time (each time you use for example "your father" in you insults you get x2 combo, x3 combo etc. depending on how many time did you manage to use it in various insults during one game)

all I can say is that it can win with ease, and you need to really plan ahead and take advantage of their weaknesses to defeat it :)
Thanks! Unfortunately, it looks like it’s rather “arcadey” and doesn’t really have a story or campaign, so I don’t think I’m interested.
This game based on Gog's forum?

Kunovski: ha ha ha ha, this game is real fun, mainly when played with 2 players sitting next to each other :D have it on Steam, so hoping a bit for the Connect connect...ion :D

Your Hat Has a Really Bad Breath and Smells of Parrots, and Everyone Knows It! :D
This game happened to be way funnier than it should have been.

Pet Shop final blow: You mom is no more and is like parrot -> victory. Those who have played it, knows what makes that funny in a wrong way.
I thought I was above this kinda humor, but I guess not.

Notice to people who are thinking about getting this. If you don't like black humor and can't stand stupid jokes, even feeling offended at times, do not buy the game. If you can go there open minded and are not easily offended, there is a good chance it will provide you the entertainment for the amount you pay for the game.
Do not expect a deep game that you can invest hours upon hours perfecting it. Well, why not, who am I to judge but a fair warning to those still deciding whether it might be worth it or not.

More light-hearted and a bit more..classy for the lack of a better word. At least less depressing if nothing else.

I tried to look through the menus but only found options for audio volumes, so I don't think you can completely remove the clock from the game.

Thank you. I would prefer to not have the clock, I do not like timed events, but will buy the game anyway for kicks.

No worries. Luckily the timer is full 15 seconds /decision, so after you'll get used to the mechanics, it doesn't feel that restricting. Happy gaming!
