Tactical sacrifices.

UPDATE: The atmospheric OST is now also available for purchase.

Meridian: Squad 22, a single player sci-fi RTS with tactical gameplay and a compelling narrative, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com.

How much do you value your squad? Are they just disposable assets, means to an end, or people you feel responsible for, as their commander? Your team was the one sent by United Earth to investigate what happened to the colonists that went missing, an alarming event which puts the entire initiative at risk. But what you'll find there will challenge both your tactical and leadership skills, as you'll need to decide whether you're willing to sacrifice your squad in order to fulfill your mission and if going on the offensive is more efficient than waiting for your opponents to come to your base. You have a 10-hour long campaign to decide the fates of both crews and once you get the hang of it, you can try to wipe your enemies off planet Meridian in Planetary Conquest, a challenging mode with over 100 procedurally generated missions.

Launch a counterattack to save the missing colonists with the help of your trusty Meridian: Squad 22, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Matruchus: Nope, it wasn't updated. Its still the old 1.03 version.

Edit: Just played it today. I asked the dev for patch update now. Hopefully it will happen soon.

skeletonbow: So we have an abandoned version of a game with no sign of an update forthcoming, GOG refused their sequel for unknown reasons, people whined in the forums so GOG listened to everyone and allowed the sequel to come here too and the original game is still not updated?

Doesn't sound like a good sign to me. Hopefully the "sole developer" sorts that out very soon or it's pointless to have either of them on GOG really.
I think it probably happened cause the last update has content that ties the first game to Squad 22 storywise and since gog denied the release of Squad 22 (initially) the dev probably didn't see the reason to update it. Well I set the question and we shall see.

Edit: Dev responded that he will try to get a patch through to gog now that Squad 22 is released.
