[insert cute death sound effects]

Kingdom Rush Origins is now available DRM-free.

They're coming from all directions and they look adorable! Quick, thin their numbers with a hail of arrows, then pulverize them with boulders from your upgraded druid tower. Now cast some beefy spells or send your hero in person to finish them off before they cross the finish line. The elven kingdom will not fall to those mangy gnolls!
There are more and more genres on the site (which I really like) but the tags are so undescriptive, I'd seriously like to see more genre tags implemented for GOG it can be a real chore (or outright impossible) to find games in a specific genre on the store (one example:"Tower Defense").

Hidden object games, now tower defense. GOG is just getting better and better. Next I want Cookie Clicker and Candy Crush.

Was hoping this would show up soon. I'm not normally really into tower defense games but for some reason Kingdom Rush just hits all the right notes. Best of all none of the microtransactions that plague the Google Play version.
Already have the original on Steam via Humble Bundle - will wait for gog connect.

GOG has had tower defense games since 2012. This particular one is the third in a series that started back in 2014, each appearing on GOG as they came out.

Actually, tower defense is a pretty good example of GOG selling selected games in an oft-maligned genre without opening the floodgates to mediocre shovelware.
Nice. The other two were quite fun. Wishlisted until I‘ve actually time to play it.
I played the first two. I don't usually care that much about tower defense, but this series is really well done. A true time sinker.

Oh, those damn flying enemies...

I didn't know the developers were from Uruguay, that's cool. What isn't as cool is their advertising the game as "available now on Steam and Mac". PC != Steam. But at least we've got the game here.

And if you're going to sell (or buy) any tower defence games it should definitely be these ones, absolutely the best in the genre.
Love the series, my first GOG purchase included Kingdom Rush. KR Origins is one of the games I've been looking forward the most this year. This just made my day! :)

nothing wrong with casualgames, sure there are shovelware games ( steam has tons of it but you must always filter)
Anyway not every towerdefense is okay or good i seen lots of real bad towerdefense games ( some are completely 3d which are on my avoid list).

arguably the best TD games are not here, some even got rejected by gOg. If you are looking for "the best" TD games, I would recommend GemCraft: Chasing shadows, Immortal Defense and Bloons TD 4 or 5.
Great to see this Origins here too! I really enjoyed this series, and I was afraid this one wasn't going to make it here so soon. :)
