Orkhepaj: Anything changed since beta? That was so meh.

i_ni: I haven't played RTS in a while (~ StarCraft II times; an iteration I was disappointed from because of big expectations). A game or three to recommend? (perhaps a question to all?)
not many new rts games only remasters , and imho those doesnt worth their price , maybe if you havent played the originals yet, age of empires remakes , c&c remaster etc.
and there is War selection on steam it is free, but graph is meh and unbalanced, still you could enjoy it for some days
It looks like some future Linux version is not out of the equation. When you add to that the intriguing setting and "old-school" real-time strategy in the era of MOBA, I am keeping an eye on this game ;)
Damn that's a... considerable price tag. Maybe I'm just a cheap bastard spoiled by all the sales :P
The setting looks very interesting. Too bad that it's a RTS. If it were turn-based, I would happily pay full price for it. But I hate time pressure and hectic, so I avoid real-time strategy. Which unfortunately means that this game isn't for me.

You might check out Scythe, which is turn-based and has the same setting as Iron Harvest. Though it seems to be much more abstract than this one (because digital board game).

mattymuc: Why do backers of the Deluxe Edition get the Standard Edition on GOG? :-(
avatar
zeffyr: It's been replied in the past - GOG's Deluxe Edition and Kickstarter's Deluxe Edition are not the same Deluxe Editions... Sadly. I got an info from devs in June, that Kickstarter Deluxe Edition backers will get GOG's Standard Edition and there are no plans for separate upgrades.
Battletech was the same. Backers got the standard here and backer rewards from the backer page and in game rewards from logging in game into a pdx account.
That price is insane considering this devs have no reputation whatsoever.

And the fact that the game is unfinished, yet released as full release. :/

Also, Sudden Strike 4 is a broken garbage of a game.

So yeah, no thanks. Keep it, I'm not wasting my money here!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ciao-bye!

Unfortunately, that one is not much of a challenge just you vs. the computer since the AI is not that clever and doesn't mock you for taking a while to consider your options.
why no Sudden Strike 4 for backers?
so sad.
backed a future unknown project, patiently waiting, helped beta access and SS4 only for those pre-ordered?
same as Phoenix Point - disappointment for Backers.

might think twice before I backed another project in the future.

Hey GoG, forgot to test the offline installers without Galaxy on the machine (again)?
Right now without Galaxy we can't change any options (applie does nothing), we can't play any skirmish and playing the campain only works when takeing an extra route through the mission selection screen with starting every mission by hand.

And I don't understand why I have to singn some Beta-Eula when starting the game for the first time...

Just wanted to say I am having the same problem. Would be good for it to be fixed before ranked ladder comes out.

mattymuc: Then this was the last King Arts game I supported.
I supported it from the beginning, payed extra for the Deluxe Edition and then only got the Standard Edition which is not even shown as owned in GOG library.
Same here

What devs state is (a CM post by KingArt would clarify it more for sure): as KS Deluxe Edition backers we get all we got promised in GOG's Standard Edition - additional goodies like artbook and soundtrack are ready to download from KingArt library.

GOG's Deluxe Edition contains additional DLC (with possibly additional faction and some missions for it) and that DLC wasn't planned when KS campaign happened, this was funded by publisher - Deep Silver. They haven't decided yet if it's going to be avaliable for sale after it's release (it's not even designed yet), with or without discount for KS backers.

From my point of view: there's certainly misunderstanding amongst KS backers, here and on KS page or Discord. They should've named GOG's Deluxe Edition differently and it would have saved the situation...

Deep Silver - your move. You can always create GOG's Deluxe Edition Upgrade and gift it to KS backers later, it wouldn't hurt. I know that KingArt are overwhelmed right now after release and their website overload, you could help a little bit :-)
