The penitent man shall Use Item On...

Indiana Jones® and the Last Crusade™, the classic point'n'click adventure starring Henry Jones Jr. and his disapproving dad, is now available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 25% launch discount.

He hates snakes. He hates Nazis. He hates being called "Junior" by his dad. But he loves a good adventure, even if it contains all of the above.
This time, hands-on archeologist Indiana Jones is on the trail of the Holy Grail, but so are Adolf Hitler's lackeys. Tracking down the resting place of the last Knights will send both Indy and his dad on a journey full of cunning puzzles, spooky crypts, double-crossing dames, and a constant need for their unique brand of problem solving: improvisation and fisticuffs. Based on the last movie of the franchise (yes, the LAST one), The Last Crusade contains many locations that never appeared on the big screen, plenty of old-school action, and tons of well-placed references that may or may not belong in a museum.

Punch Nazis with your fedora on, solve puzzles with your whip, and try to keep up with the Joneses as they investigate Indiana Jones® and the Last Crusade™, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The 25% discount will last until December 28, 10:59 PM UTC.
Finally! Awesome to see it added to GOG's catalogue!

blotunga: Nice, more Disney stuff. Now the missing Star Wars (Force unleashed 1&2) games and we're done here :)
These are the only ones missing (apart from new SW Battlefront + Battlefront 1)?
Good then, that means my collection would be complete :)

Seemannsdaemlack: Maniac Mansion! :-)
*It is* already here, although you've got to buy the Day of the Tentacle remaster to get it.

But you probably already knew that. :P
My childhood. I have no idea how well it holds up (even as a kid, I thought the fist fights were irritating), but I can't not support a release like this.

Andremop: Nice, a true classic.

One step closer for a perfect Lucas Arts adventure catalog. If I recall correctly, now we're only missing Full Throttle ( :( ) and those win95 adventure games, Yoda and Indy.

Edif: And Monkey Island 3 and 4, duh!

Nope, the real answer would be: Labyrinth! :-)

I think mostly yes. I have no idea if they have the rights to Monkey Island 3 and 4 too.
Still have this game on disc. I'll pass for now.

CAMIR0503: [...] We Germans have an uncomfortable relationship with our past and like to censor media, especially games which contain a certain imagry.
You're talking about Hitler's ridiculous mustache, aren't you? ;P

CAMIR0503: [...] To have a nice overview what they changed look here - it is in German but the images should speak volumes.

Indeed. =D
The fact that, in this game, people thought/think that simply removing the swastikas and direct references to Nazis and Nazism -- while still leaving all the rest of the imagery and...well, the PLOT -- would somehow make the game "safer" or less unsettling is both hilarious and sad.
EDIT: Fixed a typo (of my own).

MIK0: EGA and FM-Town version would be a much appreciated addition.

Hey MIK0, would the EGA and FM-Town versions be much-appreciated additions?

=P

You mean Charlie Chaplin's ridiculous mustache, which Hitler stole.

But Chaplin wore it with panache. Hitler just looked like he was trying to censor his upper lip. =D

If the stuff I've just read right now is true, he was trying to censor his nose. :)

On a related note, now I kind of want to see The Great Dictator. :P

That is a great movie. Especially on Christmas.

Unfortunately there never was a PC version of Labyrinth. :(

Yeah, but this doesn't feel right.
Same for the Special Editions of Monkey Island 1+2, Grim Fandango Remastered, the upcoming Full Throttle Remastered and so on. But this are complaints on a high level^^
The best solution is what we got here for Broken Sword 1+2.
