The penitent man shall Use Item On...

Indiana Jones® and the Last Crusade™, the classic point'n'click adventure starring Henry Jones Jr. and his disapproving dad, is now available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 25% launch discount.

He hates snakes. He hates Nazis. He hates being called "Junior" by his dad. But he loves a good adventure, even if it contains all of the above.
This time, hands-on archeologist Indiana Jones is on the trail of the Holy Grail, but so are Adolf Hitler's lackeys. Tracking down the resting place of the last Knights will send both Indy and his dad on a journey full of cunning puzzles, spooky crypts, double-crossing dames, and a constant need for their unique brand of problem solving: improvisation and fisticuffs. Based on the last movie of the franchise (yes, the LAST one), The Last Crusade contains many locations that never appeared on the big screen, plenty of old-school action, and tons of well-placed references that may or may not belong in a museum.

Punch Nazis with your fedora on, solve puzzles with your whip, and try to keep up with the Joneses as they investigate Indiana Jones® and the Last Crusade™, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The 25% discount will last until December 28, 10:59 PM UTC.

Lodium: Is the ega version better or something?
Havent played either so just wondering.
EGA was the original version released back then so all those old people here most likely played that first :-)
i.e. it's definitely an important nostalgic factor

I personally like what they did with the limitations of EGA (fixed set of 16 colours) back then. Would be awesome to have FM-Towns and EGA version like they did with Zak McKracken!
Finally! To get my copy of this, I ended up having to wait a couple of years and then pounce on a $50 "value re-release on two CDs" dual-pack of this and Fate of Atlantis from the UK about a year ago.

(Given that, I'll wait for a sale before buying.)

jsekow: Now we need Indiana Jones and the infernal Machine on GoG :) It was a very nice game.
I agree!
But since we already have Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb on GOG there may be technical difficulties with this one?
I remember trying getting it to run a long time ago (on Windows 2000 maybe) but couldn't get the camera to work properly.
Great release, cheers
Weeeeee ! :-D

I second that. I'm already happy to have the VGA version but having the others would be nice. The cherry on the cake would be an Amiga image for me since it was the first game I had on my beloved Amiga a long time ago.
At last, here it is! I've never played it before, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it as much as i enjoyed Fate of Atlantis. :) Great release GOG!

sebarnolds: Nice to have it here. Wishlisted for now as I have it on Steam already.
I just see Fate of Atlantis on Steam.

Does anyone know why The Last Crusade is listed under the developer LucasArts and not LucasFilm like the other games?

Thank you so much GOGY! <3
I'd really like to see "Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine" to be released on GoG.

If it is not released because of technical difficulties with modern hardware, this game would be definitely worth of a remastered edition!
EGA and FM-Town version would be a much appreciated addition.

Kirben: Why no FM-TOWNS version this time? it was possible for Zak McKracken.

The FM-TOWNS version offers the major advantage of CD audio for music.

Cecco: It would be a nice addition, possibly with Japanese text.

I'm impressed by the diary found in the extras. 66 pages of handwritten or typed Indy diary with drawings. Is it supposed to be read before playing or while playing? Does it give clues?
A curiosity: the telegram at page 13 might be historically accurate (I think it's modified from an original), but awfully filled out. It's impossible it could ever leave the post office like that!
I think it was needed for a few puzzles to get clues for solving them? I don't remember now if it was the in-game diary or the real diary.
Nice, a true classic.

One step closer for a perfect Lucas Arts adventure catalog. If I recall correctly, now we're only missing Full Throttle ( :( ) and those win95 adventure games, Yoda and Indy.

Edif: And Monkey Island 3 and 4, duh!
