ReynardFox: Oh dude, I have more games than I'll ever get to play, I have 780 games on here, but If GOG hadn't pulled Devotion, and now done this, I'd have spent an additional $500 or more on here by now. I regularly bought at day one to both support devs and GOG itself as I once truly believed in the service.
I know what you mean...I think I have some games I never would've bought otherwise, except to support them being here DRM-free with the offline
primary installers and all that jazz. There are also some cases where (in a more fortunate time), I waited for a game to go OFF of sale and bought it full price to support. Unless things change majorly for the better now though, I can't see myself doing that ever again, even if I won the lottery.
Taking this Hitman Online game off the store, apologizing, and giving us a sincere look at what circumstances led to its release in the first place would be a start at having me consider that kind of support again. Which is sad, as I have often said to have the DRM-free offline installers in many cases to me would be worth even more than full price; I consider many games a total steal basically even if not on sale. DRM games however are worth less than zero.
