What Hollywood hacking should be...

UPDATE: Let the techno-magic of the 14 tracks found in Hacknet's OST flow through your fingers, as you masterfully execute your digital break-ins!
The soundtrack is 20% off until February 1st, 2:00PM UTC.

Hacknet, a terminal-based hacking sim for the hidden hacker in you, is available now for Windows, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Is there a hacker buried deep within you? Struggling to be free while you go about the mundane and the usual? Are you woefully short on hacking-sims that let you live out your digital fantasies, or are you just curious to see what it's like?
Hacknet is a game about hacking, an adventure game that mixes the authenticity of a simple command line with beautiful hollywood-inspired interfaces and backends. Underneath these mazes of neon-greens and reds lies an instinctual UNIX-inspired language for you to master, and while those experienced with coding will find some things familiar, prior knowledge is absolutely not required. Between an overarching storyline, sidequests and twists, Hacknet is a game that may surprise you in more than one way...

Hack the world in Hacknet, available now, DRM-free on GOG.com!

HenitoKisou: I agree with dick1982, OpenGL really hates Intel and isn't because couldn't have better performance but it's lazy job on OpenGL support part even if drivers for intel chipsets tries provide better solutions.

Also on topic, before Uplink or even Hacker Evolution there was Digital Hazard game with full CD version OST in total of 5 or 6 tracks most of them being Avenue 5, sadly such version no longer exist on internet or include only 2-3 tracks.
Goodness, Digital Hazard is another one I was not aware of. Thank you for telling us about it. I'm going to see if I can find it.

[UPDATE]
Ahh, Digital Hazard is the same studio that made Hacker Duality / Evolution. Exosyphen Studios.
Their website does not mention Digital Hazard anymore though.

As I bought all previous ones, I'll try to contact the dev and see if we can still get it.

I edit my message, there is a support thread about the 'game doesn't start' issue and it works fine.

First of all: Please excuse me for necromancy.
More like a lazy job by Intel themselves. It's not the OpenGL team that has to provide the drivers, Intel is responsible for that,

On the more positive side: Hacknet has Linux support now :-D
