Lone_Scout: And still no First Settlers helm for GOG users...
If you have not got it yet email the developers at help@darkcrystalgames.com.

I filled out the survey a few years ago and it got overlooked. I just emailed them yesterday and they sent me the DLC today. Just state you have Encased on GOG. I think Steam has a code for it as opposed to a direct file.

:)

From my RPG forums it sounds like it still needs some work, but they probably need a money infusion. Let's hope it all turns out for the best. I might grab it now to support indie CRPG development.

RedRagan: It means that you can be smug about your field of expertise being on top of almost everything but you run out of breath trying to convince someone.
Someone who still wait for Star Citizen? Good luck for you.

At least it's not Yandere Simulator.
I'm not waiting for it, I don't even want Star Citizen, I'm a single player gamer, and only backed for Squadron 42.
Like every game I crowdfunded, I fully expected it to fail.

Direct funding individual game development, is high risk, and has a very low success rate, even when financial investors do it.
These are projects that no financial investor would even touch, NEVER crowdfund, and expect a game, just hope for it.

I'm extremely picky on what I back, only backing known devs, with a track record.
I still expected six failed games, and wrote the money off, the day I spent it.
My pickiness bore good fruit, with 5 wins, and one still in play.

I have issues with how CIG has quadrupled development time by focusing, far too much on the 4 pre alpha (sort of) polished builds.
I'm not funding Star Citizen though, I backed the project once, and will NOT give CIG more money, and still expect them to fail.
Until CIG actually go bust, they are still working on the games, so I still hope to get Squadron 42 for now,.

I'm not "Waiting for it" though.
I'm far too busy playing actually released games, to ever wait for unreleased ones, however they are funded.
I don't get "hyped" for ANY game, until after it's released.
Even then I only get hyped, by playing that game, if I'm having fun playing it.
