Play an exciting game that combines a thrilling adventure through ancient ruins with the tale of one town’s rise from the ashes.
Genre: Action, Adventure, Strategy

Be sure to check our Special Sale, featuring titles from 505 Games up to 90% off, that will last until 17th May 2022, 4 PM UTC.
Judging from the price tag it's more of a linear affair with maybe just a couple hours of content, I take it?

There will be some perks for players that link the game with Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.
... which we will need to buy at $other store, because... reasons.

edit: it's not released yet, planned for 2023. My bad. Seems weird to advertise it now on this game, not on the later one, but whatever.

Not buying this unless we are guaranties to get Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes on GOG.
If you liked Ember is a good oportunity for buy it, take a look:

-90% discount (0.99 €) - Ember
low rated
The game looks interesting, although I expect the reason for the low MSRP is because it's way too short.

When I watched the trailer I thought the same. If this is the prequel, why don#t we start with the original game?

Different developers, so there's no guaranties that we'll get the other game. This is a similar situation as Bloodstained where we got the main game on GOG, but not 8-bit style games because the developers are Anti DRM-Free (they said it themselves).

Thanks for the explanation. Regarding Bloodstained: it is good that it is here on GOG but it is bad that 505 are the publishers since they unfortunately don't care for GOG and supporting their games at all. Control is broken and crashes in the anchor fight and the last Bloodstained update broke achievements and the offline installer does not work with the DLC anymore. 505 support know about both issues since months and even were able to reproduce them and yet none have been fixed. It's still a shame that you can't sue publishers for neglecting their games on certain platforms.

Well the main girls are attractive and one of them shows some skin, already a good sign.

Marcus-Havoc: What you just said has nothing to do with its translation quality. There are some fanatical nut job translators out there that claim that just rewriting the Japanese meaning is for the greater good. They even will put socialist bullshit into it, like they did with a high profile release called Ghostwire:Tokyo.
https://varishangout.com/index.php?attachments/ghostwire-tokyo-jpg.9641/

They completely botched the ending and certain major lines in Elden Ring.
https://www.frontlinejp.net/2022/03/14/elden-ring-the-age-of-stars-ending-mistranslations-explained/

A game called Triangle Strategy shows how these translators/localizer are full of themselves rewriting stuff and being smug about it. https://boundingintocomics.com/2022/04/28/triangle-strategy-english-localization-adds-removes-and-dramatically-alters-some-original-japanese-dialogue/
OK, you're one of those people...

Marcus-Havoc: Depends on whether you have a standard when it comes to quality or not. Most morons are ok with a rewritten fan fiction version of somebody else his work. I prefer something to be accurate, not made up so that some loser behind the scnees can pretend he rewrote the game better with his own delusions written in.
I had this argument for decades now, not gonna bother with a person who calls others morons and has a rep of -270.

Marcus-Havoc: It isn't hard to get a low rep when people are triggered by harsh words like a bunch, off four-year-old. Seeing as society is now made up of grown up babies that get triggered by words itself, it shows how low the general populace intelligence actually is.
Right, it's not you, it's everybody else.
Does anyone know if this will have some sort of save file carry over system with the base game?
I contacted 505 games regarding the main game:

----------------------------------------------------
Hello,

On May 10th, you released Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising on GOG and Steam. That being said, we have yet to see Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes on GOG's upcoming game list. Do you plan to release this title on GOG like you did with so many other titles?

Cheers
----------------------------------------------------

Got typical pre-written crap for a response:
----------------------------------------------------
Hello,

Thanks for contacting 505 Games support!

Unfortunately, we cannot disclose any information regarding future changes or additions to our products outside of information already available through our official channels.

In short, if we don't have the main game in the upcoming GOG titles and I get this sort of response, for me, it means that the developers don't want the main game on a DRM-Free shop.
