Top-down tactical team terrorist takedown!

Door Kickers (Windows + Mac + Linux), a real-time action-packed strategy game where you plan and perform SWAT team's tactical interventions, is available on GOG.com for $19.99.

Door Kickers puts you in charge of a SWAT tactical squad and lets you command them during all sorts of raids. Analyze the situation, plan team routes, choose equipment, breach points, and coordinate multiple troopers to reach the hostage room before the bad guys get to press that trigger. It may sound daunting, and like real world CQB combat, it sure is. But most levels can be completed in minutes, and on the fly improvisation works. Achieving the perfect plan for getting the mission done with no false steps, that is a skill not easily mastered.

Lead your SWAT team safely from breach to hostage extraction in Door Kickers--DRM-free, for $19.99 on GOG.com!

Tannath: Looks nice, but I prefer TBS to RTS... I'll probably pass on this one.
Same here, prefer turn based. If it gets good reviews and my backlog drops down below the atmosphere the concept looks good, so may have to revisit it.

book99: You can pause and make plans but you can also move and control in real time. So you can setup A, B, C triggers to coordinate movements or just go on they fly. So Door Kickers is more flexible than Frozen Synapse.
I see. That seems like a good call, spicing things a bit. Wishlisting for now since I'm broke, but I will check it out at first chance I get.
Thanks :)

Fixed that for you.
This is a pleasant surprise! And an instabuy.

I've been waiting for this to come out of Early Access and now it's on GOG.. yay!

Ravenvolf: Once again, I wish gog told us that this would be released here. Then I wouldn't have bought it on Steam.

I much prefer gog, but a coming soon list is dreadfully needed.
not sure how its gogs fault if you go the steam route....

AndyBuzz: Hmm first time I see this one. To the ones that know, is this a simplified (and more colorful :P) version of Frozen Synapse type of gameplay? The trailer seemed like that to me, but sometimes trailers are misleading.
If that's the case then I will definitely consider buying as soon as I can afford it.
wonder why Gog doesn't get Frozen Synapse already :/

Looks intriguing. A little out of my price league at the moment, but I'm sure I'll bite eventually.

Because gOg do not divulge anything about the release schedule, and they are notoriously picky (the strange 'criteria', remember) on which games they are releasing... or not releasing. Therefore, when a new game comes out (or comes in Early Access) it is a gamble whether a game pops up here or not. You can then either buy the game somewhere else that have it right now, or not and gamble that it may or may not appear at some point in the future on gOg.
How can a game that isn't even 24 hours old have a five star rating, and with no reviews?

We need us some SWAT 4. Go slap somebody at Activision with a fish until they pony it up, GOG.
Looks nice - wishlisted. Thanks GOG! I may pick it up sooner rather than later.

Yeah but its a double edge sword isnt it?. schedule ahead of time show what u got to your competition (so they dont have a friggin sale which happens at the same time if the game has been out for a while - it *has* happened before more than once vs Steam). If people arent patient at launch then this is what happens imho.....oh well....

Just noticed this comes with soundtrack as well (albeit in mp3 only? any chance of flac oh GOG? ) - pretty rare for a indie to offer this as well...

And what about Crawl? I'm eagerly waiting for this guy; it's been a month, already!
C'mon Gog!

ps: you guys must be reading and thinking "shut up, kiddo! we're damn busy here!" :P

Crawl will be released in the beginning of 2015 since its going to stay on early access on steam for that long.

when there is new releases, there is no such concerns.... and sales are not only decided by the stores, but also by the publishers - who already know when and where the game is released (a dd store can not do a sale without the publishers permission). So no - the sword is single edged only.

It is a left-over from the times gOg only did classics and could not tell how much work was needed to make a game playable on modern computers, and some annoyed threads when games either took very long time to get released, or did not get released at all. So gOg decided back then it was for the best to not tell what they where working on. It makes sense for the classics, but not for new releases (they have very fixed release schedules)

edit: sprelling....

edit 2: re. sales - not to forget that when gOg releases a game here which has already been released before elsewhere (not the classics, but the other ones....), they almost always get released with an introductory sale (or that is my impression, at least)

Its pointless not divulging your coming soon list since all the other stores have that and release more or less all the games on the same day and basically means loss of sales for you. Since gog has a lot of steam users here now its better if there is a coming soon list so that they buy the game here instead on steam since they in most cases aren't prepared to wait for the game to be available here - you can discern that from countless: sorry I just bought this game on steam.
