Why does this game get so much hate from people? Is it perfect, no, but it is way better than C3 in every way except the combat system. To be honest with that C3's combat system was, at best, very poor but the game is still really good. C2 is better than C3. At least towns/cities in this game actually look like towns/cities instead of using gatehouses where there wouldn't be any and a temple and academy dump to soak up unemployment. The three things I wish they would have done is brought back the provincial map (maybe that was too hard for too many C3 players), re-do the combat system to make it better (closer to C2's system not C3's), and make sure the military campaign cannot be beat using the economic strategy to blitz through them. My friends and I love this game a lot more than C3 and we love that one too. If only people actually gave this game a chance instead of crying it's not exactly like C3, thank God it isn't, we might have had a C5 and who knows how good that could have been.
