gandalfnho: Well, just repurchased all the series in GOG, this 75% off promois to good to pass
the games look nice i like turnbased combat but its 3d all the way i saw some videos and .... its not my thing
always feel 'seasick' after seing some 3d stuff...

i saw that guy riding his horse in the video on youtube and my stomach turns... nope 3d is not my cup of tea
so i must stick to 2d.

sometimes a game has 2d and uses pre renderd 3d looking chars who move in a 2d fashion, those games are okay to play, real3d is not.

i saw this game got mixed reactions on big old steam.

i also saw this one request:

Fiach [has King's Bounty: Dark Side] 3 hours ago

Never tried these games. Looks cool though!

einexile: Being required to buy a product I don't want or already own, in order to get the same discount as other users on a related product, rubs me the wrong way...
While the "bundle" discounts are sometimes amusing I agree that GOG is more and more becoming a "one trick pony" overly dependent on trying to package together titles to compell people to buy more. The previously single item Monday/Wednesday sales have turned into a bundle format, the seasonal sales are highlighted by bundle "deals." I've purchased all the King's Bounty games and am thankful for a deal, but I agree less gimmicks and more sale variety would be a refreshing improvement.

Not really. In this week's promo (Japanese RPGs) it doesn't matter how many games you buy. You always get the same discount.
Oh NOOOO!! Why did I buy this game on Steam? I thought that this one is not going to show up here and it looks like I was terribly wrong..... Anyway thanks GOG team for bringing this one here and completing the King's Bounty series! Now I know that whatever new game from that series will be released I WILL WAIT for GOG release....

F1ach: If you played one, you have essentially played them all, if you enjoyed Crossroads and want legitimate versions of it and the other games, you wont get so much gameage for such a cheap price again. I would buy them all (if I hadn't bought them already) together for the bonus.

BTW, the GOG version has a manual, the Steam version doesn't.

bioshark: Thanks for the tip.

Having played Crossroads, I know that the game gets a bit repetitive and playing one actually means playing all. That's why I am hesitant to buy the entire pack. I also heard that WotN is buggy.

So I will probably stick to this last one, Dark Side. Even if I would buy them all, I would probably not have the time to play them all :) My TO PLAY list is anyway too large :)
I'm about halfway through WotN (from gog, so with Fire and ice expansion), and haven't encountered any serious bugs yet (someone mentioned 900 figts in this thread, so I have about half of them to go). Few CTDs - but with this game, you would be a fool not to save at every opportunity anyway, and the quicksave feature is one of the most sofisticated quicksaves in any game I played, so almost no playing time lost. And one potential minor bug on Merlassar, I can't buy anything from mage barracks, but that may be intentional, because I made wrong choice during dialog. That's all.

So far, no complaints from me. Only now I have to find a way to split myself in two, to play dark side too...
I'll likely pick this one up. I own the rest of the series, so $5 for the new premium edition is pretty hard to pass up. The really nice thing is, I still have more than 6 days to decide.

Is the second a patch maybe?

Or could be the premium amulet DLC.

I would use the largest first

Ok,I'll try it later, you would think if Gog gives you 2 setups there would a readme..

Correction 1 setup is a bin file..1 setup for standard game...1 setup for Premium Ver...
