ATOM RPG: Post-apocalyptic indie game, a love letter to the classic Fallouts, is now available DRM-free.

After nearly wiping each other out with nuclear bombs in 1986, the Soviet Union and the Western Bloc are scraping by in the wasteland. Now someone is out to finish the job. While scrounging up a living for yourself, engaging in turn-based combat and stat-based gameplay, you will make fateful choices and explore the Soviet wasteland for answers.

you never seen this game ? i have, maybe its because i am searching the ntire inetrnet to see if saome really good games might be developed some where, and they are, thing is its all using today engines which mean 10 degrees tirning, lots of zoom in opties, and sometime allow to 'tilt' the screen up so it looks like you can watch and see what happening below ( eg when standing on a building ingame).

Anyway, these extras are the part that prevents me buying them, whic h is sad cause many games look good , just use a modern engine, but maybe a classic remake with classic engine might emerge and come up someday ....:D

Pretty obvious indeed, its Fallout allove which is very good, except the engine, its too 3d.
Anyway it seems a few otehr fallout clones also exist on steam... have to look for them, but i fear its using same engines cause thats what they use nowadays, 2d.5 is just to ancient .
