Telika: Looking forward to reviews on that one.
Check Steam... it's been on there a while in Early Access... it's got like an 84% Positive right now

Tarhiel: Will have a look, probably an instabuy.
Fallout inspiration is obvious in this one :)

gamesfreak64: Pretty obvious indeed, its Fallout allove which is very good, except the engine, its too 3d.
Anyway it seems a few otehr fallout clones also exist on steam... have to look for them, but i fear its using same engines cause thats what they use nowadays, 2d.5 is just to ancient .
I have no problem with 3D at all.
I am not interested in all the clones, but this one ticks all the right areas, plus has a very good reviews on Steam as well.

Though I must say first thing which came to my mind after seeing this was Phantom Doctrine :)
Oh, and instabought :)

Great at last and bought.

Since this is an RPG (or is at least labeled as one), three questions:
* How is the character growth system? Are experience levels used, does the game use skill points, and is there a way to improve your characters?
* How is the magic system? Are the mechanics interesting, and is there a good selection of spells?
* How is healing handled? Are there interesting healing options? Are healing spells and items strong enough to be worth using during combat, or are they so poor that they're impractical for even out-of-combat healing? Does resting heal you fully, or just partially? (Also, can you rest anywhere, or just in certain places, or everywhere but certain places?)
Great! Bought already!

Its a post apocolyptic rpg, set after a nuclear war, highly doubt there is going to be magic.

Care to explain what exactly happens at 0:32 which for you is a negative thing?

Googled for release dates:

Phantom Doctrine/Initial release date : August 14, 2018

and

ATOM RPG: Release Date: 19 Dec, 2018

so PD was released earlier, but its hard to tell if they were looking at eachothers games , its like being caught cheating during an exam, while some managed to cheat and got a way with it, its hard to tell.

I think its because its using a 3D engine and not a 2D engine like Fallout 1 or 2
Nice to finally see this added.

Destiny of an Emporer, a JRPG set in ancient China, has a mechanic that behaves like magic, albeit under a different name. (It's worth noting that the system has its quirks and flaws, like having a useful spell being replaced with a less useful one at level up, or not getting any TP (what the game calls MP) if your party lacks certain characters at certain level ups, or enemies having infinite TP and having access to full heal spells.)

ah the closest I can guess that ATOM has (mentioned on the store page) is special abilities, which is probably lifted from FO 1 and 2
Well, a lot of people were howling for this one. GOG actually listened for once.

Looking at the screenies... lol Fallout much? Somebody gonna get sued.

Also interesting to note it uses the GURPS system.

Wishlisted.

samuraigaiden: 3rd RPG best of 2018 according to the Codex. And those guys don't like anything!
Of all the RPG turds of 2018, Codex says this is the 3rd least stinky? ; )

Will give this one some serious consideration.
Instabought.

Hopefully will not regret... :)
