Bambusek: It is 1.27 GB, but the rest you get with patch 1.5 :) That's the reason it is so small in size.
Thanks for the answer .

No problem. I understand that here it may be confusing as you need to manually download the patch, on Steam the patch downloaded automatically around 2 hours before expansion release.

There is a typo in the Age of Wonders 3 base game link resulting in 404 not found error. Missing _ between wonders and 3 in the link (age_of_wonders3 should be age_of_wonders_3.

Fixed :) Thanks!
Was hoping for a release sale or a base price similar to Golden Realms. Still, glad to see it here, and that's the best sale I recall seeing on Golden Realms.
Ah, well. Wish I could afford the base game. Still too high priced for me. Well will wait another year then.
Oooooh, frostlings and tigrans! And undead, too. With the halflings in "Golden realms", that's 4 of the iconic races that have been restored. It's beginning to look like an Age of Wonder game again :)

Cool!
That moment when the DLC is more expensive than the base game. :D
I thought the version sold at GOG before this DLC release was the 'deluxe edition.' Now, instead, I have a DLC upgrade to the deluxe edition in my account, but it doesn't show as owned on the store pages. =/

wolfsrain: Yay for russian pricing. Unfortunately for the rest of the Eastern/Southern Europe pricing is pretty much the same as for the Western. Not that our living standards are better...

Pretty much why i dislike regional pricing. Countries like Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, China, Russia have preferential pricing while other countries in the same situation or worse have western pricing. I rather have the same pricing everywhere.
I'm from Indonesia and i dont know anything about that preferential pricing, for each game i buy in GOG i use USD as currency of payment, it's not like GOG receive payment in Indonesia Rupiahs, and i dont receive refunds in Store Credits either. So I pay in western pricing.

Speaking about economic condiition a single 19,99$ game translates into approx 260k in Rupiahs, thats approx 10% from the local minimum wages where i live, and for middle class worker constitutes to about 5% from normally given wages here, and that's alot already here and that is also not calculating the taxes yet. Another factor to throw is that i live in the capital where economies are better then the other areas.

So kindly refrain from generalizing, when you dont know the exact fact, and i'm not trying to nitpick anyone here, but im so tired already hearing about regional pricing, since my country is right now are highly affected by the weakening of global economy, plus also the decline of my country currency compared to USD, but we just take that in stride and not generally bitching about such matter in the forum, if I cant afford a game i dont buy it. It's simple.

Well, GOG guys (or game publishers or whoever responsible for that) calculate the prices basing on the size of active gaming auditory (i.e. potential buyers) in respective countries, I suppose. You may ask: but what about price lowering for not so active buying countries just to stimulate sales? I can't answer to it...:)

As for implying Western living standards to Eastern/Southern Europe - it's a question to your politicians... They were so eager to "enter the world of prosperity and civilization" that simply forgot about their own people. It's a common thing alas...:( (not only in these countries).

Wouldn't that be nice! I can tell you from personal experience that this is not the case. We get the standard US price here.

Agreed. Even though that wouldn't do the Eurozoners any good any longer.
I have played the older Age of Wonders games but couldn't really get into them as they felt too slow paced for me (too much army management). Any chance I'd like the third game anyway or just not my type of game?
