Sitting on a cornflake, I am the walrus.

Seal the Deal, a new DLC for the delightful action/adventure Hat in Time, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.
NOTE: Owners of the base game can claim this DLC for FREE until September 14, 6pm UTC. This time limit does not apply to Kickstarter backers.

Hat Kid goes sailing! On the absolutely iceberg-proof vessel The Arctic Cruise, carried by a wave of whimsy, charm, and lovely seal-iness. Besides this brand new chapter, this DLC brings a tough-as-nails mode called Death Wish, six new Time Rifts to adventure through, plus a hatful of new outfits, dyes, and flairs!

Additionally, Hat in Time just received a FREE update adding a co-op split screen mode where you can play alongside the cheeky Bow Kid
Thanks for the free DLC!
It's been so long, I can barely find my way around the ship. Where do I access the DLC?

There's a "Seal The Deal" icon at the bottom of the main menu but that only leads to a picture with the message "go to store".

The screenshot function via the Camera badge is STILL broken exclusively in the GOG version. I cannot believe this. It's been over half a year and at least three patches and there is still no fix. Oh, and of course still no modding tools despite being romised otherwise.

Why am I not surprised.

Free DLC tho, I'll take it.
Yoink.
Well I know what I'll be doing tomorrow. Thx.
There is a 40% discount on Steam celebrating the release of the DLC. Not here unfortunately.
Free DLC! Thanks !!!

That's interesting, because as a Kickstarter backer I don't remember being given the option to switch my key to GOG, like I could with Yooka-Laylee. Instead I have it on Steam.

Between this, the bugs, and the missing features in the gog version, there's not exactly a big incentive to grab it here over the Steam version. It becomes more difficult by the day to justify purchasing newer games on gog.

I think the err here is to realize all this and then go blaming gog and buying it on steam. That's how you reward devs/publishers for their bad business practices and simultaniously stab gog in the back, to afterwards complain about gog being a bad store.
40% discount has finally appeared - 3 hours before the free DLC deal expires. This leaves a sour taste in my mouth so I'm gonna skip this (along with the lack of parity with the Steam version).
I wouldn't even recomend this to those who can get in for free
First I I had to watch a video on how to even find this level. Then I got told to collect nine more time pieces. Not being able to was one of the reasons I had it uninstalled. Now it's uninstalled again and stays that way forever.
