He could believe that our politicians are lizard people for all I care. That's no reason to "rejoice" over his death. The man committed no crimes and did no harm other than draw cartoons which people disagree with, which can describe dozens, even hundreds of cartoonists in the world. Leave him in peace.

Those opinions influenced others, and caused a lot of trouble for the youth in their day. For example, my dad was told to throw out his records by such a pastor. Those records are valuable today!
