It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

phaolo: Steam spoiled users so much that they forgot even the basic rules of computers -_-
Btw, I'd give a try with Recuva (or similar) anyway.
Winblows has always catered to people who can barely manage to tie their own shoes. But yeah, Steam takes it to another level.

moonshineshadow: Well gog does not have any cloud saving. So all games have the save files on your computer. Meaning that they all got overwritten/deleted when you re-installed Windows.

BlackThorny: Isn't there some script or something community made to keep a copy of the saves from games in the cloud?
I don't seem to find it now though, I think I saw something in the forum - worth finding and adding to galaxy beta thread highlights.

BlackThorny: As mentioned earlier, it IS WORTH trying to install Recuva or other to try and recover your old saves,
unless you formatted* your HD while reinstalling Windows, it might very possible to bring them back.
Other then that, you should try and ask for some saves (editor) from the community that you can load and get your progress back

* Some software / methods are even able to recover data from formatted HD, but the chances to get saves that way are much more slim.
For those that don't know, if you reinstall Win on top of itself, it automatically saves old user data. But if you know your PC is infected, it's always best to do a clean install.
