A bit surprised there was nothing to post in this thread today actually, but holding off any cheering as I am wondering whether the $12.49 base price for those two was actually picked to avoid regional pricing by aligning all to the highest price elsewhere and not as a DRM-free (or fixes, if they exist) premium. And of course also waiting to see how the other games that will come will be priced.

And yeah, posting this here too so I won't get involved in that thread where I assume people keep (probably deservedly, at this particular point in time) heaping praise on GOG for "scoring" these games.
Randal's Monday from our dear friend, Daedalic.

Yep, they're extending their lead.
(I'll need to split that off soon, getting to size limit...)

Thankfully it ticks so many of my "hate that in a game" checkboxes that I don't need to worry about ever buying it.

Onto the list it goes, but only because the trashcan is full.
It looks like Regional Priced games are much more common than before. For example, look at Randal's Monday.

Yes, already mentioned above. You should keep your eyes open for any future Daedalic game; it will most likely be carrying regional pricing.
I am already surprised seeing the German audio track included in Randal’s Monday … Had to wait nine months for the German version of Deponia 3 on GOG.

The regional pricing only seems to affect standard prices? I cannot remember having received a bonus for Deponia3 as I bought it during the summer sale.

That's because Deponia 3 wasn't regionally-priced before 27 August.

That was before they introduced the new pricing scheme. ;) Deponia 3 got regional pricing on August 27th.

edit: ninja all the way

Oh, interesting. Then I guess I was lucky, buying it (a) without regional pricing, (b) at a discount and (c) with German language. :)

And another one self published as well apparently. Well I guess the developers can't just blame big bad publishers anymore for regional pricing with this continuing trend.

How disappointing. Was considering getting this one, but passing for now.

Yeah, im really disappointed and I did not have a clue that its going to be regionally priced when I asked the developer to release it here. Ah, well its seems indies are taking the regional pricing full on where as big publishers like Disney regardless of the age of games released are prepared to do it flat priced. Strange world isn't it.
