Have you contacted with EA and asked them about Gog Connect ( EA Origin ) ?

https://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/gog_connect_ea_origin

I'm waiting for this since 2016 .

JudasIscariot: I believe that Hand of Fate 1 has been updated to the very latest version. Please let me know if it isn't :)
well if that's the case, i can tell ya that the current build/version available for Hand of Fate 1 has an unfixed bug that was NOT in the game in its earliest drm-free release build (not a gamebreaking bug, but still... strange when a bug appears and breaks something that worked, and you have to choose - if you keep an offline archive of first versions and patches - between latest patch with latest features and correction but new bugs too, or older version with less features, but less bugs..)

(again, i repeat, in the case of HoF 1, the but i'm talking about is very minor, compared to some GAMEBREAKING bugs in some other latest / current gog builds, like breach and clear, or other games)
Are more good old games coming? The missing Gold Box games, etc?

And games like Dungeon Master, Birthright: Gorgon's Alliance, Buck Rogers: Countdown to Doomsday and the Phantasie series?

Also, any chance we can get Diablo 1 on GOG?

When it comes to old games with impossibly complicated rights issues, I'd rather see them untangle Blade Runner. Unlike NOLF, Blade Runner doesn't have its own dedicated website where you can download a fully functional fan-patched version that will run on modern systems.

JudasIscariot: I'll answer this part because this is one of the things that I do at my job :)

[patches]
Have you contacted with the developers / publishers about the missing patches ?

We contact developers all the time about missing patches. We also encourage those of our developers who aren't already using our developer pipeline to do so and we offer them all of the support that they need to get familiar with our tools.

We also offer technical support in case they run into any issues with our tools or whenever they have issues implementing Galaxy features such as achievements, leaderboards, etc.
And what happens if the developers don‘t answer or just don‘t update their game? Nothing I assume, seeing the thread „second class customers“. That‘s the GOG way of doing business.

The answer you're looking for lies in this picture.

i_hope_you_rot: Well i'm unimpressed .

Do you guys remember to the old days when we received official replies to almost every questions ?
I remember when the GOG main staff(like that french monk dude in one vid) did VIDEO PR UPDATES with apologies for site/etc issues and just to be nice to the community & keep in touch. Now it's years later and they hardly do any keeping in touch with the community(barring twitter posts/etc).

With whatever new management they have, any kind of response would just likely get the employee fired/publicly shamed/disowned.

Sadly this is so......I remember also, btw, when they didn't feel the need to apologize to the small 2-4% of people who got offended by their jokes/joke posts.
