darthspudius: To 20 people maybe, I don't think it will be as bad as people make it out to be.
To 20 people maybe. But should those 20 shut up because they are only 20?

I don't care about the average gamer, I care about myself. This situation disappointed me, I personally want a refund, and I will say so here in the forum.

Both GOG and CDPR are companies that want profit, and will move to maximize that profit. I hope for their sake this turns out to be profitable to them, but no decision is perfect. There are good and bad points to every decision, it's up to them to weigh them both and prioritize what they deem more important. All I do is remind them that they lost a sale here.

P1na: If I get a game, I enjoy it, and then am offered a chance to get more of it, I'm cool with it.

If I'm asked to pay full price for a game before release, based solely on trust, and then before the game is even out I'm told I won't have it all unless I pay X extra... no, I'm not cool with that, be it on disc or download.

It sounds pretty simple to me.
I get it, I do. But how do we know the Expansion content is ready to ship with the base game. And if it adds some decent new gameplay features, could you not make an argument for a separate price tag? Could you not even make an argument for it being appropriate to package it separately?

I just don't think it's all that bad considering the length we know it is. Announcement is not proof it's ready today and they're just withholding it. If it is done today, does it really matter if it's worth it?

I do hear you though. It is a bit shady not to just ship it if it's done. But maybe they feel, at 100 or 200 hours, they've already done enough for the base game. Point is, I don't think this is so bad. Now, if the expansion packs end up being necessary or sorely missed from the base game *cough* goro *cough*, that's a different story.

Look, I've already said this, but I'll try to summarize it and make it quotable.

I'll most probably play through the game only once. I want that one time to be the best experience I possibly can. I also don't want to pay more than 60€ for one game. Therefore, I'll wait to buy this game.

Sure, the devs will have their situation, whatever that is. However, I also have my own situation. The devs are deciding to release it according to their situation, and I decide to buy (or not, as is the case here) according to my situation. That's all there is.
No, darth. We know, 16 free DLCs, 2 expansions charged. The answer is no. And no. Whatever anyone does concerning this package/offer anymore, the deal soured. The way things turned out to be... Not the actual stuff inside.

All these DLC shenanigans leave you 2 options. Wait 3 years until the complete thing is out or purchase the base game then DLC1, then DLC2, then season pass cause it's cheaper than DLC3 and then DLC4. Actually there is option 3 - nope.

If you say so...
