Fuzzyfireball: Not to mention in a recent interview the CEO trashed DRM, saying it doesn't work and it's pointless.
In that they were actually ahead of GOG. None of their games has a "proper" DRM. The only DRM they use is their forum (tech support need registering). Which is a very good way, imo.

wodmarach: not sold Spun off it's now an independant company not affliliated with anyone
Yeah, that makes sense. I'm still not sure why they would bother with GOG. You can get many "old" Paradox titles still on GG. And, to be honest, I hardly remember anything older than EU 1 from them.

For what it's worth, I'm all for it.

SLP2000: I'm doing some thread necromancy here, but first post in this thread is very well written, and says all about publishers not yet on GOG (except EA, which now is)
Good idea. I'm adding the first post to the wiki so that anyone can update the list.

edit: Here it is.

Pretty awesome!
That means only the old stuff, unless GOG starts selling DLC.

Meh. Paradox games are generally getting better with each iteration. No point in going back to EU II, imo.

I guess they have to start selling DLC.

It's that, or no new AAA titles ever.

Even then, with paradox games a client is pretty much mandatory. Since you have to download and install every frikkin' DLC. I moved all my Paradox games from GG to Steam because of that.
Things look a bit different 4,5 years later, arn't they?

Sorry for the necromancy, but this is my favourite thread on gog ever.

Yeah, absolutely!
Interesting seeing Capcom on the list and thinking about the weird 'sort of' situation with then - seems to GOG can get stuff from Capcom US but as soon as things need approving from Japan...
I'd imagine they're going to be the main target of GOG little field trip to the far east...
Bump
