Gearbox was bought by Embracer. Which is why the Borderlands games should no longer be in the realm of impossibility.

They do put games on GOG and I'd imagine they can overrule Randy's stuck-up ass, should they want to.

I remember an Interview a while back where they were talking to some Embracer heads and they said that they would be rather hands off allowing the publishers to act independently, if this is true then Randy can still say no selling games on GOG. They also own Coffee Stain and they only have 1 game here by the looks of it.

I'm quite sure GOG knew what comments to expect.

Somehow GOG was able to convince Gearbox to let us have the Homeworld games (I think this was pre-Steam revenue share change and before the EGS store had taken off, though). Still, yeah, I wouldn't expect more Gearbox games any time soon, no real financial incentive and what wolfsite said about Embracer letting their companies work pretty independently.

im sadden we do not have Civ 2 game here.

Would get it on release.
