Every time i start up GOG i always get "There was a problem with updating the application". Although i can play my games just fine, it bothers me that i get that every time i open the app. So far ive downloaded the latest version from the website and when i try to install it it just tells me im on the latest version of GOG. Anyone else having this problem? Im currently on the 1.2.29 version if that helps.

Did you review either one of those? Some suggestions are made in both like trying to run the GoG Galaxy client as admin and seeing if the update occurs then.

It's usually a good idea to check to see if your issue is already being discussed before clicking on that New Tread button.

I'm in the same boat as OP, its been "fixed" but the issue comes back. Even did a format for other reasons and this issue came back.

tried support, posting, log dumps with no help :/
