MegaCorp, a new expansion pack for Stellaris, is now available for pre-order DRM-free.

Focused on the magic of cutthroat profiteering applied on a galactic scale, this new DLC lets you establish Branch Offices to crush the competition, build megacities that span entire planets, raise formidable megastructures, and even dabble in the pops slave market for that much needed edge.

The MegaCorp expansion is scheduled to release on December 6th.

I have played/showed games on my channels of games that were given by publishers and developers and not once I was paid (I do have a small channel) or asked any favors or to say anything positive about the game(s). I know there are times when some publishers/developers will hire let's players for promotion of their games, but that doesn't mean it is something that always happens.
I didn't claim that all let's players are paid. I only said that some let's players get games for free before release, and then I commented on those let's players who do get money for promoting a game (which I assume is a fraction of the really popular ones, especially those who get pre-release games and are featured by the developers during their marketing campaigns). Dunno if Paradox does this.

Of course most let's players do it as a hobby, not a job. Anyone with common sense knows this.
However those who do it as a job tend to have 100k+ subscribers and are high on the list when you search for let's plays in google/youtube.

In any case, I'm not saying paid youtubers are a bad source of information or entertainment. Just saying they need to be taken with a grain of salt.

Tauto: Haven't played it as yet and unlikely, mainly because of the clip.As you stated above is a valid reason.I can remember video's used to show game play but like a lot of things nowadays they change.This business of playing music and no info is really not helping to sell.

Xinef: Though nowadays you get dozens of let's players (often given pre-release copies) to fill that gap. I don't remember it being too common years ago.
In fact, let's players can often show gameplay better than devs/marketing dudes can.

... even if they're paid to promote the game, so their opinions aren't 100% honest. But still you can see plenty of gameplay no matter what they say while playing :P
