muntdefems: From what I understand, there's nothing broken. What elcook said back then is basically the same that Linko just said today: devs have a simple tool at their disposal to upload their patches to GOG, but they must still go through GOG's QA.
Not quite. Going by this response they are immediately released to the public and the testing happens later

Linko90: Gotta go through Q A first. And we let our Q A roam free at weekends. Can't keep everyone in the GOGgeon.
Hmm, can you clarify? It seems like this contradicts a post by Judas from months ago.

Pheace: Did something change since Judas said something different before?

The developers publish them independent of us, we simply test them afterwards in case a regression is introduced :)

Pheace:
Was this their first patch to Galaxy? My understanding is, based on what Judas said, the first patch still has to go through Q A first becasue GOG wants to make sure there is no problems with them being able to upload to Galaxy. Then subsequent patches can be uploaded independent of GOG.

So perhaps that is what Linko is referring too? Linko can you clarify please?

EDIT: And to be honest I think that does more harm than good, the rollback feature exist for this reason. Galaxy users would probably want to risk the chance of a broken update than have a delay due to Q A.

No. I made my voice heard on Twitter and in the BT sub. I don't feel like beating GOG up too much, despite being annoyed it took 72 hours for my brand new game to get patched.

I may complain about some of what they do, but I love them. Hence removing my previous post.
