Crosmando: Honestly, call me a conspiracy theorist if you like, but I believe GOG secretly hates this forum and wants to get rid of it (or at least sideline it from public view, or intentionally neglect it to the point it becomes very painful to use). They dislike how opinionated this forum is, especially in regards to criticizing practices of GOG, and would rather it be replaced by a community of sycophantic yes-men like the GOG subreddit.
What do you mean secretly? The neglect makes it overt. If GOG actually gave a shit, and didn't consider the forum and the users therein a thorn in their side, at least something, anything would have been fixed by now.

nightcraw1er.488: I find the easiest method of ascertaining whether anything will be done on new problems, to be to evaluate what they have done over the last few years. So nope, no chance.

Ice_Mage: A while back, profiles and GOG Galaxy were repeatedly inaccessible. That was resolved, sometimes in under an hour. Also, a moderator stopped by to post there. So fixes are still possible.

BreOl72: it really only takes pressing F5 once (twice at the outmost (as far as my experiences go)), to get to the page I want to get to.

Ice_Mage: It depends on the number of replies in the topic in question. If trying to reproduce the problem, Word association game is a good example. When I run into it, it takes between 3-6 reload attempts to get through. That's something to deal with multiple times per day, for each day I stop by the forum. It gets irritating very quickly.

I'd patiently wait longer, provided staff would let us know it's being addressed. I'm sure they've run into the problem themselves by now, plus the server logs are bound to be filled with errors about this.
Yes no doubt galaxy gets some attention, it’s going to power CDPrOnline so needs to have resources poured into it. I am talking about the website that hasn’t had any fixes in decades.

Ice_Mage: Try to load several forum pages, or even just one large thread, and odds are loading will fail. It's been about 2 weeks now. No sign of improvement and no word from staff. Is anyone even doing anything about this?
Additionally, it also takes quite a while for one's post to go through (the page just sits there for a few seconds doing nothing), and I just experienced an issue that was happening quite some time ago where you hit the post button, it seems to be doing nothing but upon refresh of the thread you see that your post went through.

Pretty frustrating.

Edit: Happened again with this one.

Yes i am getting a single GOG bear holding the earth, but when will it be 2 GOG bears to lighten the load.
It seems the forum loading issues are getting worse.
Have you guys encountered any loading errors today? It seems better to me, if not outright fixed *fingers crossed*

It’s definitely better.
