If you have already read the cult series of novels by Robert Jordan and watched the TV series released lately, now it’s time to dive even deeper into the rich high fantasy universe.

The Wheel of Time is a classic FPP game with RPG and strategy elements. You join Elayna Sedai, Keeper of the Chronicles of the White Tower, who has been tasked with founding 4 ancient seals that keep the Dark One from taking control of the world.

GOG.com: who has been tasked with founding 4 ancient seals
I'm sorry, what? Did you even read the minimum synopsis of the game? Are you even a real human?

This is a bullshit duplicate marketing post written by someone with not the faintest idea of what the game is about.

Stop the spam please.

It could be the game hasn't sold enough, which wouldn't surprise me at the current price.

If it had been under $10 AUD it would have been an instant buy for me.

The disparity between prices for old games here, really astounds me sometimes. Some are so cheap, I almost feel guilty buying them (Tomb Raider, Heretic, etc) at that price, while others like this one are overpriced. I reckon I paid $10 AUD for the boxed version, back in the day ... probably a year after its release.

They all come down in the end, so I will just wait.

P.S. Even though I love the game, I guess I'm just not an emotional buyer, and I don't want to encourage such pricing.
Please, don't watch the TV series. They have almost nothing to do with The Wheel of Time.
Read the books, or listen to the audio books. They are great and have the best special effects budget you could wish for.
I was hoping for a game of thrones with a much more interesting world and characters that get to live from episode to episode. It is as if Machin Shin made it. Corrupted.

I'm with you on this.

I guess a big part of it has been whether the game has been easily available elsewhere. The Tomb Raider games have been on other stores, but this one and e.g. Blade Runner were unavailable for a long time, you cannot buy either on Steam for example.
Now you are starting to be like pushy salespeople. 2 euros and it's a deal. Moreover, I simpatize for those poor trollocs and I don't want to hurt them. Have you seen in what conditions they live? It's always the working class that has to fight the wars of the powerful. I'll pay 10 euros for a Trolloc Revolt mod in which they rebel against the Dark One and found an ecovillage where they can live peacefully.

Blade Runner had a better price on release, as has many other unique tp GoG releases in the past.
