Hammercorps: At this point, my only way of getting GOG games are in giveaways, or maybe someone will trade GOG games for Steam games.

Other than that, I'm screwed.

Supposedly, not allowing international purchases "fights fraud." Yeah right. Just like DRM "fights piracy."

monkeydelarge: You could buy Steam games and then trade them for GOGs. But having to go through that whole process is a pain in the ass.
I know, finding someone trustworthy that's not a scammer is such a hassle. Guess I've got no way to support GOG for now. :(

I meant that finding someone who has the exact GOG you want and is also interested in a Steam game is a hassle.

Agreed.

Hammercorps: Well shoot. Looks like I'm screwed then. :( Thank you for all the replies though everyone!
That's hardly true of all cards. Many of them you simply need to login to their site and enter a zip (possibly more depending on the card) to use it online.

I'm thinking I might get a prepaid card and just run it through Paypal. Seems to be the best (well, only, I guess) option.
I was just in a convenience store looking at two debit cards (one was vanilla) but neither said anything about international.

I was surprised at how expensive it is to use them, and even how much it costs not using them in maintenance/inactivity fees!

So, I gotta ask... Wouldn't it just be easier to set up a small savings/checking account that has a very low minimal balance or no minimum, that also has no fees or any other such, and keep a very small balance in there, and then *gasp* link it to a Paypal account? Unless it's the "principal of the thing" I suggest keeping things simple.

The biggest reason is I don't want to link bank information to Paypal. Or to anything online, for that matter.

I tried that many times in the past and each time, it didn't work. It seems Paypal recognizes that these gift cards are gift cards and doesn't let you use them like normal credit cards.

Shmacky-McNuts: You happen to notice not one USA member has it though? Because in the US you cannot get it. Thus yer kinda $h!t out of luck with that "service".

The retards that run the company(not gog) give false information on places you can buy it at as well. Which of course you can't >_>

People also mention buying online versions or credits....well that sorta defeats the purpose now doesn't it? I mean if I gave a crap about buying online I would think the multiple anger threads regarding this would be moot. The whole point is to not have to use credit/debit/paypal. Buy a physical item to use on gog, if I'm correct in thinking that is what the OP was regarding?

I've chat with a number of people on this forum about such a thing. Sadly all reports for USA members are negative. We don't get consideration even though we are the largest group. Go figure -_-

While I'm glad you folks in europe are able to use other methods, the rest of us seem not as important to GOG.
That sucks. What a bunch of douchebags. Some days ago, I was searching my area for them, calling stores and they all told me they don't carry such cards. I thought they must of recently stopped carrying them but really, Paysafecards was just lying to me.

Or the sellers are plain dumb. When paysafecard was starting in Europe, I had the same experience. I had to explain to them what should they search for in their computers.

Once I bought a Spotify monthly ticket and next month at the same store, but with an other cashier, they told me they don't have it.
Hi,
Does anyone know where I can use paysafecard? I bought some credit specifically to buy games off GOG as it was listed as an option on there website. . When I tried I found it is not an option in Australia. Looks like other countries can convert it to neteller or skrill. Apparently it was removed due to "technical difficulties" and doesn't look like it will be back. Would have helped it the GOG site made it clear it was only available as a payment option in certain countries. Was easy to buy paysafecard credit at local store but looks like I can't actually spend it anywhere.

Wanted to buy adventure/rpg games from GOG that weren't on Steam and not really interested in online games. Might try using it for Spotify if that works but does anyone know of other Game sites that will accept paysafecard payments?
Thanks.
