catpower1980: I understand (well, I think so.... ^o^). First, GOG don't do permanent modern free games anymore (last one was Treasure adventure I think). Second, Heroine's Quest came around the same time that Quest For Infamy which was a commercial game so as the two were based on the same model, you can easily see why GOG didn't want to foreshadow the commercial one.

Grargar: Lord British is calling.
That's why I wrote "modern free games" as something modern, vaguely new ;)

JudasIscariot: I can vouch for Ziggurat being good as I've played that one a bit although I can see the Painkiller influences with a dash of procedural generation :)

mistermumbles: Speaking of which, I sent its dev an e-mail last week asking about a possibility of a GOG release. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be in the cards at this time. :(

We don't have plans to release on GOG.com while we're still regularly adding new content to the game, as GOG doesn't have a proper autoupdating system. Also, the game uses Steam API for achievements, leaderboards and cloud saving, although that's only a minor issue.

Ah, that sounds like they may consider it once Galaxy is actually up and running. Too bad we don't have a clue how long that will take. :P
Maybe one day we can have Ride to Hell here? :) Come on, it's not that bad! Well OK, it is... but it's bad in a funny way.

Heavy Bullets I haven't played enough to really get a feel for the game as of right now :)
Is there a real chance that GOG could get Heavy Bullets or Ziggurat? Those both look like really cool FPS games!
The gamecard seems to be up now. I suppose it's release is... tomorrow? Curiously it lists both February 13 and July 31 as dates. Soooo I could buy it tomorrow and download it at the end of July? Sounds legit. =P

Well, that's not a name change per se. Digerati is a publisher for some indie games like Dustforce DX and Vertical Heroes already available on GOG. Could it be though that they bought the game rights outright? *shrug* Or maybe GOG just goofed again as they did with those dates.
